I know I overpaid for the book, but it's a keeper.
Honestly, I'm glad that the front cover was sold by Comiclink. The whites are so white that before looking closely at the paper and printing, I was concerned it was a reproduction.
Thanks for sharing.
Do you have an actual link for it? I'm having trouble searching for it.
The cover is from a Winters book. Those books usually all have bright and strong colors and the book usually has white or ow/ w pages. I wonder why the cover was separated from the book. None of the books were incomplete and the front is apparently in great condition.

Compared to what mid-grade SA B-character semi-keys are selling for these days, GA seems just so dirt cheap to me. I've even noticed myself going after books I haven't cared for as much, simply because they seem so freaking affordable. Mind you, they aren't. But they seem that way, compared to everything else.

Very cool! I like that they preferred putting Zatara on the cover, over Superman. I wonder why, though.

According to GPA that Tec #225 sold in 2017 for $120k. Taking into account all the fees, the seller took a loss here. Had higher hopes for the MM after that JL cameo.

This auctioneer is horrible to listen to. Wonder why they didn’t put someone up who knows something about comics. Glad there’s tons of ways to mute.

And here's my favorite poorly restored book. Somebody had an Action 64 with no cover. So they decided to create a new cover. So they drew the cover. In crayon. Well, the blacks are magic marker and ballpoint, I think. The rest is crayon. I can't imagine how many hours somebody spent creating this thing, only to end up with a book that's Action 64 with a crayon front cover. And of course, the back cover is original to some book, but not to this one. That X-acto ad is on the back of Super Duck #9 (1946), so the back cover used here is probably off by a few years.
Wow! I love this. The cover seems pretty accurate. Either the creator had a great memory or this turned out to be a cool art project 😎

I am surprised by how much I like this movie. I admit, I didn't like the New52 approach when I first read the stories, and probably still don't, but it works for the movie. After watching the trailer I imagined it to be a total disaster and expected a scary movie kind of approach. Checking the trailer again after having watched the movie, I feel like they didn't choose the best scenes to represent this movie. Except, of course, the scene on the roof where he transforms. The movie isn't epic, but it's a very good approach to a hero and story that most didn't know about. Having in mind the GA characters I didn't like Billys and Freddies characters as much at first, but they turned out to be very likeable throughout the rest of the movie. However, most of all I admire the message behind the team and how well they work together.
Could the costumes have been better and the villains more convincing? Sure. Considering the budget, how much I did not like the previous BvS and JL and an entirely first and fresh start at a hero who's not been in the public eye for about half a century, I really, really liked the outcome and am very positively surprised. Looking forward to seeing more.

Send it to CCS for a pre-screen. Book is a beauty but there’s also value in that old label.
This.
