9.2 Most of the defects are pressable.

9.2-9.4 only problem is the color rub on rear.

I've had two 9.0s come back with no notes recently, and I agree it would at least be nice to know if anything you ID is the reason. Based on post-CGCing, I find many 9.4/9.6/9.8s to be more or less interchangeable. It looks great! Can't wait for my copy to come home.
I think 50% of the time 9.6 and 9,8 are interchangeable. About 5-10% of 9.8's you could argue a 9.4 got a generous grading, and about 5-10% of 9.4 got a harsh grading and could've gotten a 9.8 on another submission. Grading is so subjective even using cgc guidelines.

Any 2nd, 3rd... printing.
I'm a bit torn on reprints/facsimiles. On the one hand it cheapens the rarity of the originals. On the other, it makes the comic more accessible.

not sure I see a 9.6 with the bottom spine corner. 9.2/9.4

6.5-7 as is, 8 after cp.

It almost looks too white. Assuming this was treated with peroxide/blue lights.

7.5 as is, 8 with cp.

8.5-9.0 As is, 9.4 with cp

A completely detached cover with moderate (VG-ish) wear? That'll earn a 2.0 GD from me.
Thought I was going crazy seeing the grades. Put me down for 3.0

8.5-9.0 definitely worth getting pressed and submitted to CGC as this is an expensive/desirable book

Thank you! Seems reasonable.
Was thinking 6.5-7 until I saw the rip, so 5.5-6

Actually, If you check my other posts from my other punisher 1s, it seems like it's a common manufacturing error. The last one looked just like this and got a 9.6. So I'm hopeful for that.
Was gonna say 9.6. Yes the line is in every copy I've seen.

Looks solid aside from the spots. 9.4. FYI I think this issue was prone to color rub. Mine also has a small white spot on the other side and it's not a stain.

Thanks.
Book is sold. The seller graded it as a 7.5-8.0 copy, if that is the grade/price point you are seeking have a look at the copies on Mycomicshop. Very tight grading at Mycomicshop and I have been very happy with the books I have purchased from them.
It's on my "be nice to have" list, not my "must have" list. If I see a good grade at a good price I will grab it. Will check out mycomicshop. Thx!

My suggestion is to just buy a copy that is what you are looking for as it isn't a rare book.
I think the staple could be fixed but the paper tear above it still exists.
Have a pic of the entire book?

If otherwise high grade then yes, it would annoy me too. Are there other copies to choose from out there? However if it was offered at a sufficiently low price to reflect it's jankiness then I would be happy with that. What I wouldn't be happy with is paying top dollar as if that defect wasn't there!
yeah it seems to be a reasonable price, but think I will go for mintier copy.

in Hey buddy, can you spare a grade?

I was thinking 4.5 bc of the scratches across the "I", but yeah hard to tell in case.
