  1. I have a few slabs I want to list on ebay, but have no idea on what to charge for shipping. Any advice?
  2. That seems like a generous 8 comparing it to the grades I just got on my recent modern submission.
  3. The prints are definitely etched in there, but I would argue it's color rub more than staining. I was hoping for an 8.5. I have 7s plastered with spine tics and corner crunches. Maybe it was just wishful thinking.
  4. Those other defects don't exist though. Minus the prints the book was a 9.6 all day long. I figured it would get dropped to an 8.5. I think the grader was harsh as I only got 2 9.8s out of 25 and I pressed 20 of them. All 25 got white pages which is a stretch on some of the books, but I'll take it as a consolation prize. Here's another one that's a head scratcher: Grader Notes: light bends to cover light creasing to cover light spine stress lines to cover
  5. If only I could go back in time and tell 14 year old me to wash my dang hands before reading comics. Honestly I think I got a harsh grader. There was a few head scratchers in this submission.
  6. Do the fingerprints hurt the grade that much? The graders notes say staining, are they referring to the prints?. CGC Cert # 4392091024 Grader Notes light bends to cover light creasing to cover light fingerprints on cover light spine stress lines to cover light staining to cover
  7. I keep getting the following error: I tried waiting an hr, logging in/out. No change. Your search activity has exceeded our limits. These limits help to protect the security of our database. Please try again later.
  8. I don't have the book in hand yet, but the graders notes are just generic nonsense.
  9. If it was a more expensive book I would consider resubmitting, but it's not really worth it. In any event, I don't know what the graders are smoking to give this a 7.5. I guess I will rely on prescreens moving forward. I only got 2 9.8s out of 25 books.
  10. This was graded 7.5. Looks like a 9.0 to me. What am I missing? Same copy pasted notes across my submission. Grader Notes: light bends to cover light creasing to cover light spine stress lines to cover
  11. Dang my shipment arrived the day after greggy's giant submission. @greggy are you a presser?
  12. I would go with 1 30K grail. If I needed $ quick it would be easier to liquidate the 1 book, even if I took a bit of a loss. 300 $100 books would take you forever to unload unless you were willing to take a real haircut.
  13. Cool book. No idea how that miswrao/misallignment affects it.
  14. That thinner paper really takes to a press. I didn't even use steam and got nice results.
  15. I have a single comic magazine I want to get graded, but it's cost prohibitive to submit singles from Canada. Any idea if I can submit it with a bigger modern comic order? Would they ship them back separately?
  16. It might save time if none pass and there's nothing to encapsulate.
  17. That does sound misleading since we know they can/do determine fmv above declared value and upcharge.
  18. 25 modern arrived at post office 5pm feb 26. SFG feb 27, card not charged yet.
  19. First they have to do the Miles Morales LGBTQ++++++++ arc.
