I don't think anyone is saying that waiting 29 days for communication is okay and it's not even the rule. You do need to wait that amount of time before you can nominate someone to the probation list which is a completely different thing and may or may not include a lack of communication. Sellers (and buyers) do need to communicate quickly when they are having a sales thread or least let the community know if they will be unavailable or unable to respond for xx days for a reason. This really shouldn't be a thing and certainly not worthy of any rule changes.

To add on about buying experiences, I've never had a bad transaction on here in 14+ years. I am selective about who I deal with but feel confident that the board policies make it a great place to get some great deals. I've had some sellers that over grade but never enough to make me request a refund etc... Those sellers that do that on a regular basis, I just don't buy from anymore. Side note on the PMs. Maybe the seller doesn't have the option turned on, but I have all PMs sent to my email. Sometimes it's easier to read the email if at work/in meetings or out and about.

I inquired about a specific ASM book to see if he had any for sale back in early March. I got a response back pretty quickly but maybe I dodged a bullet? Hoping this is nothing more him dropping the ball due to life issues. In the meantime

The topic is quite interesting it just diverged into chaos way too often to be productive. Not really knowing the history of the topic, it was certainly educational and it was pretty easy to tell where the agenda was pushing the narative.

Quick trip up to Montreal this weekend. Stayed downtown and found a little shop, Librairie Omnibus, for a few quick pick-ups. Not a huge selection of back issues but was able to grab a few things, mostly from the $3-5 bins. Even better with the current exchange rate... Lucked into the Avengers annual as it's a nice high grade copy (9.6?). Owner was a super nice guy. Chatted with him for a few minutes as I was on my way for lunch and a bit of day drinking .

Too bad, I'll be in Calgary early August and was going to squeeze in a day of local shops. Any other stores recomended?

Thanks, I think probably canon mostly. I've been enjoying the Disney + series and though Andor was fantastic. The whole Luke/Leia/Vader schtick had run it's course for me and the new stuff is a breath of fresh air. Hoping to find something that is part of the larger universe but not the same old same old. For now I would likely start with recent series and eventually work back with some of the better Dark Horse runs. Not really a one-shot fan but mini's are cool if the story is good.
