    I gave the Batman a 4.0 I completely ignored the possiblity that the cover might be detatched and looked at the book and then took the spine into account after I gave it a grade. I gave it a GA bump too. My gut told me 3.0 but I ignored it. (I wish I could ignore my gut telling my that another beer to wash down that greasy burger is a great idea but that's a story for another day ) I wasn't hard enough on the beaver with that scuffing on the Blackthorne and too loose on the Transformer creasing. I was thrown off by the CBC on a 9.2 from the last contest. Live and learn, on to the next round.

    9.6 at best but likely a 9.4. Tough book to get in a 9.8.

    Second flaw is the tanning on the inside covers. Along the top it is nearly a white with a purplish hue (likely from the reds on the cover). I've never seen a book with this pronounced tanning. Strangely the PQ is still pretty good. Likely CR-OW.

    Average book the I'm comfortable with the grade advertised but I'm curious as to how a couple of defects impact the book. Solid lower grade with great gloss and color but enough creasing and spine issues to keep it down. First flaw is a small tape pull up in the CCA stamp.

    Those creases are too big, I'm thining in the 5.0 range too. Press might help some.
