  1. I only care to get these back with enough lead time to unload a hopefully high grade copy of ASM Annual #16. Starting to wonder if that will happen before the next movie comes out...
  2. This book has eluded me for a long time, high on my list of ones to pull the trigger on in 2022. Luckily, I have FF 66 and 67 already and the cameo in Thor 164.
  3. *sigh* I'm at the 6 month mark for a four book economy submission and TaTs keep moving in the wrong direction. I think today is 127 business days and still SFG as of this past Saturday. My hope for a Christmas miracle now seems to be a pot of gold at the end of the St. Patrick's Day rainbow.
  4. I don't submit myself and only have about 25 slabs (70% CGC) in my collection but I would expect this will trickle down my way should I happen to use a dealer to submit for me. I currently use my LCS when I submit and know their costs are part of what I'm charged. Earlier in this thread, others mentioned that many collectors prefer raw and I'm in that camp. The recent trend of graded prices for raw has made me pass on a number of books as that makes zero sense to me. Why would I bother if I just exhibit a bit of self-control and go find a graded copy for the same price? It is a bit that this would happen unannounced as it did. Given how "vocal" things are here, this type of response is warranted and not unexpected.
  5. And then there were three. Lower grade copy, sold to me as a 3.5 and I agree. Largest issue is a 1" spine split on top. Might CPR up to a 4.0? I only need #'s 2, 3 and Annual #1 for a full run of 1 to today.
  6. New Releases For 1/12/2022 OCT210129 DEPARTMENT OF TRUTH #15 CVR A SIMMONDS (MR) $3.99 OCT218040 AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #85 (O/A) $3.99 OCT210924 FANTASTIC FOUR #39 $3.99 Detective Comics #1048 (Cover A Irvin Rodriguez), $4.99 OCT218808 ANIMAL CASTLE #1 2ND PTG $3.99
  7. I voted no but agree that the grade range should be part of the post. I think I've only posted once in that section and IIRC, it led to nothing. I'm sure I didn't put the price in the post and would not do so if I use that area in the future. I generally have a price range in mind on a book and if a seller comes back with a book in my grade range and it's reasonable I will likely take it. counter offer or discuss a bulk buy. Not much different than the approach I would take at a con or here . If you don't like the post or feel that a price is a requirement to you, move on...

  9. I dropped $300 on FF 94 because I missed the boat (my own stupidity and assuming that the book had peaked, enter Wanda Vision ). I am working on a run of FF so that book is important to me. I did pull the trigger prior to the announcement of the new Disney+ show so at least I didn't that up. I still feel the book is overvalued but had I waited any longer, I would have paid double what I did. Luckily I collected when Nova first came out so I have two nice copies already...
  10. I had a break through case just after Christmas. Me, my GF and my daughter as as well as both of my daughter's roommates. Semi-sucked for 2 days and then was tired up through Thursday. All good now.
  11. I absolutely do. Of course I only need Annual #1 to make that part of my collection complete so easy for me to say .
