  1. Starting the first of a couple Betty and Me comics. People refer to this as an innuendo cover although it's a little less obvious (at least to me) than 16. But as far as you know, this is an "innuendo cover!" Reader copy for sure with a tear on the front cover, center right. All there. Asking $20. Back cover: Inside front cover: Centerfold: Inside back cover:
  2. Back to it with a Wilbur #8, 3.0 with off-white pages. I've sold a copy of this before in the raw and, as I mentioned then, I just love this Fagaly cover. Grader notes: Moderate creasing to cover; moderate spine stress lines to cover; moderate wear to cover; wear all corners of cover. Last sale was in 2020 for $89. I believe someone got a good deal way back when. Asking $165. Label: Back cover: Just the cover:
  3. Next is Rangers 17. Big fan of this cover which closely resembles Rangers 6 given it's got the same pose/bondage tie-up. This young lady is a little more curvy than the damsel on 6 and I find the woman on 6 has... claws? Anyway, the cover is detached from the original single staple. It was attached when I bought it by two extra staples but I removed them (you can clearly see the staple holes in the back cover pic). If you buy this comic, you're welcome to add as many staples as you'd like. I know this isn't a graded comic but a 2.0 sold for $175 in 2019... so asking $200. It's 2019 all over - $175 Back cover: Inside front cover: Centerfold: Inside back cover: Rangers 6 for comparison (not for sale)
  4. Back to some raw books. A leggy Lubbers lady gracing the cover of Wings 104. 52 pages of Fiction House goodness. This one has the cover detached from the lower staple. Spine split half way up or thereabouts. But it's still all there! Asking $25. Back cover: Centerfold: Inside cover:
  5. Let's flip from some classic Archie comics to a classic Batman with a 4.5 Batman 251 with off-white pages. A terrific Neal Adams cover featuring the your friend and mine, the Joker. Grader notes: Crease bottom of front cover breaks color; multiple readers crease left center of front cover breaks color; spine stress lines breaks color; very small chip out right bottom of back cover. Lots of sales per GPA on this one with some consistent prices: 2021 avg: $379, 2022 avg: $357, 12 mo avg: $354, 90 day avg: $359 and last sale $371. Feels like $350 is the best number to go with here. Label: Back cover: Just the cover:
  6. The second Fagaly cover is Archie 24. Archie is again in a room with two lovely ladies but this time his situation seems a little more dire. This book completely split on pretty much every page (which are brittle) except for the cover. So lots of issues.. but in its defense, it is from 1947. Asking $35. $30 Back cover: Inside front cover: Centerfold: Inside back cover:
  7. The first of a couple of Al Fagaly covers featuring long legs and eye-lashes. First is Pep 64 with Archie "stuck" in the greatest waiting room of all time. Cover is beat and completely detached. If the cover were attached, I'd be pretty happy with this as a low-grade copy. Asking $50. $45 Back cover: Inside front cover: Centerfold: Inside back cover:
  8. My paid consultant is reviewing all offers and what will be available tomorrow. So be on the lookout. Don't be shy with the offers... worse I can do is have my consultant get back to you and say no.
  9. And one raw to close out the evening. ASM 124 in 2.5 or so condition. First appearance of the Man-Wolf. I was able to upgrade recently so offering this up here. Selling at a loss, asking $40 - sold! Back cover: Inside front cover: Centerfold: Inside back cover:
  10. The 2nd Rangers Comics is Rangers 31 in 4.5 with off-white to white pages. Terrific bondage cover with some headlights that a... snake(?) with fire coming out of it's eyes has locked in on while the natives get extra restless. I didn't take a pic of the back cover but can if you'd like me to. Graders notes: Light pieces out to cover; light spine stress lines to cover; moderate creasing to cover. Nothing sold ever in 4.5. A 3.5 sold for $350 in December 2022. Asking $375. Label + more of her:
  11. Here is the first of two Rangers Comics. A 4.5 Rangers 32 with off-white to white pages from 1946. Headlights cover + masks all around. And spurs. Not many comics offer spurs on the cover. Graders notes: Light foxing to cover; light pieces out to cover; light spine splits to cover; light spine stress lines to cover; moderate creasing to cover. Last sale from 2020 of a measly $54. Gonna mark this up and ask $150 sold! Label + lady: Back cover:
  12. Wow! Harry the Talking Dog is on it. Suzie in a hurry ain't so bad. Neither is a Suzie 62, 4.0 with off-white to white pages. Grader notes: Light staining to cover; moderate creasing to cover; moderate spine stress lines to cover. No recent sales other than an 8.0 Promise Collection for almost $700 last year. Asking $200. Back cover: Label (and Suzie's upper half): Front cover only:
  13. This is my third time trying to sell this comic. Is it me? Is it her? Can't be her. Maybe 3rd time's the charm? We'll see, but I'm going to be lazy and not even change what I wrote last time. Bob Lubbers dropping in a tommy-gun-toting, headlights-blaring, long-legged lady out of the sky. I'd also argue this should be noted as a bondage cover - I mean c'mon, the dude is tied to a propeller - but I suppose the CGC folks are looking mostly for tied up ladies. All of this and more in Wings 93. Off-white to white pages, CGC 4.5. Grader notes: Moderate creasing to cover; moderate spine stress lines to cover; piece out back cover; staple detached bottom of back cover; staple detached top of back cover. A 4.0 with cream to off-white pages sold in October 2022 for $275. Asking $300. Just the cover: Label (and her): Back cover:
  14. On to the slightly esoteric - Trapped. A 6.5 drug-education comic from 1951 with (more than slightly irritating) slightly brittle pages. I love the description from the GCD: Students smoke reefers, lose job, try heroin, then descend into life of crime to pay for habit. Reefer is such a great word. And did I mention that this was used in SOTI? It was. Grader notes: Despite this being a 70+ year old comic graded in April 2022, there were no grader notes. No recent sales - the last one was a 9.4 for just over $1k. Asking $175. Label: Back cover: Just the cover:
  15. I'll zig a little here with Underworld 6. I picked up a few of these recently. No shortage of guns, bullets, molls and stickups. If you go a page or two without some sort of violence, you must be reading the ads. 3.0 or so. $75. $65 Back cover: Inside front cover: Centerfold: Inside back cover:
  16. Continuing on with the Rhino theme, here is Amazing Spider-Man 43. CGC 6.0 with cream to off-white pages.1st full appearance of Mary Jane Watson and the origin of the Rhino. Grader notes: Light cover tanning; light creasing to cover; moderate spine stress lines to cover; multiple readers crease front cover breaks color Recent sales between $210 and $274. Asking $215 Now $195 Label: Back cover: Just the cover
  17. Next up are a couple of the bigger boys I'll be offering. First is Amazing Spider-Man 41 in 7.0 with white pages. Probably don't need to tell you this is the Rhino's first appearance. Old slab. Grader notes: Bottom Front Cover Multiple Crease Breaks Color; Bottom Front Cover Multiple Fingerprints; Spine Moderate Wear Breaks Color. A white pager just sold for $825 a few weeks ago. Asking $800. Label: Back cover: Just the cover:
  18. Pep 168. Leggy Veronica on the ice - a little homage to 125. Cover detached at bottom staple only. 2.0 to 3.0 shape. $40 Now $35 Back cover: Inside front cover: Centerfold: Inside back cover:
  19. Starting off with a terrific Betty cover on Archie's Pal Jughead 25. Pretty beat up but all there. Just love this cover. $50. Now $45 Back cover: Inside front cover: Centerfold: Inside back cover:
  20. My kid just left for the prom. I've bought too many books lately. Guess I should try and sell some books. And I suppose I am re-thinking my collecting habits so starting to thin the superhero herd with a few decent key books and getting rid of my under copies of GGA books I have. Shipping: Shipping is $16 in the US for USPS Priority shipping for one or two slabbed comics. Three or more slabs will be $25. Raw comics will be $8 in the US for any amount of books. I am happy to ship anywhere outside of the US at exact cost via USPS. Payment: Preferred method is Zelle, Venmo or PayPal. Payment due within 5 business days or I reserve the right to cancel. References: I have sold some CGC and raw books over the last few months and those went pretty. I've sold on eBay as well but it's also been years since I've sold anything there but, for what it's worth, zero negative feedback there (susanville43). Returns: No returns on CGC books - happy to provide you with any picture you'd like. Raw books are returnable within 3 days of receipt (but I'm telling you up front, these are mostly beaters). Take: I am willing to entertain offers but the first in the thread always wins. If we come to agreement in a PM, the take needs to be posted in the thread to complete the transaction - if nobody enters a take at my asking price before you post your take, it's yours. No Hall of Shamers or Probies.
