Guy admits to shilling on eBay. Money is money though with "cool books". He's not on the HOS/PL, but people can always update their personal lists. (thumbs u LINK Kind of wish eBay showed more than 60 days worth of sales data. There are at least four sales that seem pretty questionable but IDK. Maybe they are legitimate buyers who happened to bid on the auctions who also happen to have the same number of feedback as his second account.

Amazingly stupid. It does seem pretty dumb doesn't it. I vaguely remember him starting off doing something goofy and taking some heat for it but as his post count started to go up it appeared he was getting some credibility. I know post counts shouldn't really matter, heck I've been here since 2009 and have less than 300 posts, but when I see someone with a high count I assume they're a contributing member of the board. I guess DBs can have high count too...

Did he really put a value of $5 on a CGC 9.6 SS 2nd print? Wow. I couldn't believe that either. The guy is trying to get over on people like they have no clue of what kind of books they have. I had to check over some old messages to make sure I've never purchased from him nor will I ever.

If these guys were out to mess with your auctions and not pay then why would they place such low bids? Wouldn't their bids be high in order to guarantee they won the auctions? The way it looks to me is those bids were placed to get the auction bids up and not to actually scam your auction.

I bought some Archie books from Damian and they came in well packed and was shipped rather quickly. Shipping came out to be more than expected and he covered for the difference. Honest seller and was great doing business with him.

I do it only if I have a question about the item and the seller and I have an agreement on the terms. I figure it helps out the seller since I'm sure some of these sales thread generates a lot of PMs and it might make it easier for them to remember who they were in communications with in PM.

No I don't. It seems people are going down more and more over there. Good luck to you in trying to turn people's opinion. It sucks that you got burned by the dealer. I can imagine if this is how you behave on the boards you might have been a little too much for him which is probably why he kicked you out. BTW there is a thread on Rogan about stories about getting kicked out of stores or something and your story would have been classic.

Let's get HusTruck in here. the irony is, this is the thread where most of his comments SHOULD be, instead of in the sales threads... From another site. I guess he has a habit of annoying people on boards and not listening to other poster's, in this case an admin, suggestions. Sad thing was he got pinked one day, let go the next, and then got banned from the site the day after.
