  1. Avengers #147 VF+ : $10 Avengers #148 VF+ : $10 light ink overspray top edge or take both for $15
  2. Avengers #52 VF+ : $90 Black Panther joins and 1st app. Grim Reaper
  3. Avengers #51 CGC 9.2: $150 I don't know if this book was pressed or not.
  4. Title says it all. A little bit of everything. Here are terms: People on the probation list, or that I may have on ignore, are not eligible to purchase. Raw books: All my raw books are unrestored and not pressed unless noted. All my raw books are accurately graded and your satisfaction is guaranteed or your money back (except shipping costs) as long as book is returned in same condition as sent within 7 days of receipt. The first in this thread or via PM wins the book based on time stamp. Time payments are possible but must be discussed before you make the purchase. Shipping cost depends of how many books you take, where you live and how you want this to be shipped: 1) 1-3 CGC books with $100 insurance and tracking number to the USA with strong packaging is estimated around $28.00. 2) 1-10 raw books (regular size) with $100 insurance and tracking number to the USA with strong packaging is estimated around $25.00 3) If you want cheaper shipping cost, I can ship 1-3 raw books to the USA in an envelop with Mylar and sandwiched between thick cardboards for $10.00 ($5.00 to Canada). However, there is no insurance nor tracking number and I cannot use a box with this option. If the package gets lost or damaged, there is nothing we can do and I do not recommend this option for more expensive books. 95% of the time there is no problem, but there is a 5% that sometimes get damaged because the postal man is too dumb or other reasons. This option is therefore at your own risk. I do accept PayPal or international money orders.
  5. Did you try to contact the seller? I did, got my invoice, paid and item was shipped.
  6. Whom should I contact at CGC to have some holders replaced at no cost? PM me if you prefer, thanks!
  7. Did you have to pay the slabbing fee a second time when they did re-holder your books? That is horrible story to hear about your WW #50, that only would be enough to make me very reluctant to re-send them books. I hope that they did compensate you for the damage.
  8. Good to know. Now what can I do with a CGC book that has Newton rings? Can it be fixed without cracking it? Why did CGC decide to change into that new generation of slabs? The second generation were great, why changing them for such a worse product?
  9. Touch the covers, they have a different a texture. Also, read that thread: https://www.cgccomics.com/boards/topic/439835-2000-ce-when-pressing-was-restoration/
  10. I am not an engineer but could there be a correlation between pressing and Newton rings? I know it sounds crazy but all CGC books that I have purchased from the new generation have some Newton rings, more or less depending of the books. The only ones that have no Newton rings at all from the new slab generation are the ones I did submit myself and that I know have not been pressed. Is this just coincidence? Am I getting paranoid here?
  11. Probably being late to the party and I did not read all threads about Newton rings but just did receive an expensive item from Comiclink and it has several Newton rings on the CGC holder Book looks good inside but the rings really transform it into an ugly display and I do not dare cracking the case as it is a new case and probability of discovering that the book has been pressed terrifies me. Any update from CGC about this? Can they replace a CGC holder with rings by another one without rings? Thanks in advance for the info.
  12. pending there is no finger print nor discoloration on upper left edge of front cover above the DC logo (light reflection or scratch on the case?)
  13. Amazing Adult Fantasy #10: $300 This is a former CGC 6.0 very tightly graded but it does look more like a 6.5/7.0. Obviously not pressed and most of the flaws do not break colors.
