All 6 of the Seal grades were at least an A (3 A's, 3 A+)

Somehow Advance Wars 2 ended up with an 8.0, so I'm really interested to inspect it since it looked great when I sent it.  Advance Wars received a 9.2 which is good, but not what I expected.  Dual Strike had a 9.6, which makes sense because it basically looked perfect.  Days of ruin had a 9.4.  Pokemon Y got a 9.4, and Brilliant Diamond a 9.6.

I'm not really sure what it takes to get a 9.8, since the ones that got 9.4 and higher looked flawless, off the shelf condition to me, but I'm also not looking at everything under a microscope, which I hope is what CGC is doing and makes it take that long to grade the games.  In other words, huge congratulations if you manage to get a 9.8.  don't expect you can just send in a brand new off the shelf game from GameStop or target and it's in 9.8 condition.

 

 

What amazes me is how a seal can get an A+ but grade at a 9.2 9.4 9.6. Common sense would make you think that if the seal is an A+ almost perfect,  that the box or case would be excellent also 🤷

@MattM CS @Holku @Starius I finally figured out how to get to the complete details of the grade and found that they both got A+ on the seals!! @MattM CS thank you for your great communication through email, you've been great and understanding!

Its going to take all of my willpower not to check the grades online, but I will share after I get them.

LOL, I had to look! Herc's Adventures was driving me crazy!! 

@Holku @Starius  Yeah, the only thing I won't really find out is how the seals graded. They didn't provide that info. I was extremely extremely shocked that ATV Offroad Fury 2 got a 9.8. Could of swore that Herc's Adventures would of graded higher. I still think the seal on Herc's Adventures will come back higher than Offroad Fury, but we'll see. Please keep me updated on both of your submissions. I would like to see pictures as soon as you get them.  I'll post pictures on here when mine arrive!

I also see that even though the shipment was delivered 10/18 at CGC, the status says Received 10/24, so I expect the 30 day turnaround is planned from that date.

So if you ship, they might arrive at the dock, but not be in their system for a week.

Although today is business day 39 from October 24th, so it may take a couple of weeks to go from Received to where they start the turnaround cycle.  

Or maybe they just started and are refining things and we should give them time to establish things and get in a groove.

Status says Shipped and I can see my grades!! Attached are a couple of screen shots.  😀

I found it as soon as they announced! Wish it was a little more detailed as to which department it was in, but still cool!   Do you mind me asking which games you are getting graded??

Yeah, I'm a little disappointed. Was just emailed back that now it's going to be an additional 2 weeks before I see my games. I honestly don't think it should be the customers responsibility to check up on an order if it's delayed. I'll be lucky if I see my games before the new year IMO. I highly doubt the 2 week time frame I was given will be accurate.

I just saw the video Slab Skillz posted, saying his turnaround for 6 games was 3 weeks and he just got them back.  His video of prepping to send them in on YT was a month ago, which tracks.  Even though all of the TATs have always been 30 days, I'm guessing he must have submitted in a more expensive tier that got prioritized.  It's been almost 8 weeks that CGC has had my submission of 6 games.

The good news is that if it's just a shipping component causing the delay, they can still grade, do QC, and encapsulate, and they can sit in shipping as the last step until that's ready.

IDK, I finally messaged them last Thursday and they came back saying that my games were just now being encapsulated. They received them Oct 21st.

They received my two games on Oct 21st, so I'm hoping for an update soon also.  I'll be looking out to see when you post next.
