  1. A boy! An Iron Boy? lol.

You gotta teach him the ropes.

Baltimore! That is so cool. I'm jealous!

I bought tickets for my first con that I will be going to, "Thought Bubble", it's here in the UK, it's not till November (Not for a while) -- some cool guests will be there though man (CGC won't be there though, but oh well).

Adi Granov will be there :o and John Romita Jr :o

I can't wait! Going to try and get some commissions.

  2. Uhhh. Wow. I'm speechless.

I wasn't expecting it to end like that when I read the beginning.

I'm just going to mention the positive,

That's so awesome that you had that feeling of being 'whole', and wow... You have a sister? That must feel SO crazy, right? :o

  3. I just wanted to show my 2 latest SS books here :hi:

Firstly, They Live is one of my fave John Carpenter movies.

These are the ONLY copies that were ever sent to CGC (so obviously highest graded) and are also File Copies, I got them directly from the guy who put out this Fanzine (John Carpenter Files -- which ran to 10 issues or so, I believe) back in the late 80's... These were his best copies that he had, and likely the best copies in existence... To top it off, I had Kris get them signed by John Carpenter and cast.

This one had a print run of 500, and featured the first ever Press on his movie 'They Live'... Although, the only reference to the movie on the cover is on the top left, "They Exist, They're Bad & They Live!". I was very happy that this got a 9.6  I just wanted John Carpenter to sign this one, and keep it simple.

This is my favorite out of the two. This one had a higher print run and at this point -- the fanzines became more successful and was distributed more major. I believe this was the first magazine/fanzine to ever publish pictures from the movie 'They Live', and it has a small picture on the cover (top left). I had Meg Foster (who plays the main actress in They Live), Charles Cyphers (who plays the Detective in the original Halloween 1 & 2 movies), and Danielle Harris (who plays Jamie Lloyd in Halloween 4 and is also in the new Rob Zombie Halloween's), and off course -- John Carpenter (who off course produced everything on the cover and in the fanzine) sign this one :P

I think they turned out great and am very happy with them :hi:

  5. anddd. YOU buzz killed me.

I guess I misread the rules of the post :) sorry guys.

Nope, it's the only one signed by both Stan Lee and George Tuska though I believe :)

    :rulez:

I thought I would start a thread that would try and capture one of the really awesome things about doing signature series books. There are often opporunities to get one-of-a-kind books signed and graded.

So here are the rules for posting books in this thread:

    1. The book must be the only Signature Series book for that particular issue on the census

    2. You may post your book if there are other SS copies on the census only if your copy is the highest and only graded copy. So if there are a couple SS 9.4's and you have the only SS 9.8, then you could post it here.

    3. Please refrain from posting signed and sketched books as we all know that type of thing is one of a kind, plus there's another thread for that

3a. You may post a SS signed and sketched book if it is the only SS book, or single highest graded SS book.

I think this would be a really cool way to see all the "one of a kind" ss books out there!
