This post has made me really want a DD 131!

This is my first CGC in ages, I started getting raw comics for a while in hopes to one day get them slabbed myself, because CGC are so pricey.

It's signed by Bendis, I'm actually really happy with it - always was a fan of this cover, and a lot of the Pulse covers. The fact that it's a yellow label makes it even more cooler I think!

I love all the books! Congrats.

And wow, a Killing Joke 9.9 - Can't be many of those around!

Funny -- I don't know why I find the digests appealing. They didn't exist when I was a kid, they're too small to show off the artwork well, and in this case, I'm not much of a Warlord fan. Yet I just bought this one.

My original art looks rubbish now compared to everybody's on here (this is my first time looking in this post).

I love that X-Men 85, I usually hate The Beast as a cat, it looks ridiculous, but Dell'Otto did a great job! Where did you get this from? Where can I get one?

These are three hard ones to find in 9.8.

 

 

 

I hate that CGC sometimes under grade. It's irritating, I hope they never undergrade a book of me, i'm all for them overgrading tho!

I guess you're lucky, I guess those markings realistically (IMO) would have bought it down to a 9.2 at least, but it's great that it's a 9.6, bet you're real happy with that!

What would you have given it?

My scanner isnt the best for CGC books, upon further investigating this book i find that my grading standards compared to CGC's are very strict. I found things on this book and a few other that are already graded that i would not allow on 9.6. This is no shot at CGC btw i think they are a great company.

 

 

Heard great things about this two part series but haven't ever read it.

I just need to decide if I want to spend the money having it slabbed for a NG, to keep it well protected. I would love to hear thoughts on this.

 

I know its only pages but it is quite scarce its the complete story and it is 28 in the top 100 Golden age comics. Besides I probably will never own the full comic.

I figured it would be a good time to buy this issue, seeing as it looks like they've got him in the movie and it may go up in price to a price i wont be able to afford, . Not a bad copy.
