Cool book Sean.
Here is my one signed by Hershel and Lori, who died in this issue, so I figured it would be cool to get signed.
-
I've never seen that before either. Looks pretty cool though.
Whilst on the topic of Hellboy, I figured i'd show some pieces that I got framed up recently... Duncan Fegredo Hellboy and Carlos Ezquerra Dredd commissions.
Frames were £6 at Ikea and fitted perfect.

You told me it was an easy 9.9...
-
Not yet. The grade should come in any day now
We'll put your grading skills to the test

I just got a picture through from Curt who helped me get my first Cheung at Pheonix Con, I'm really happy with it, I think this may be in my top 5
-
That Parel is excellent
-
This is actually really hard
I'd like to see yours Mike
It's so hard for me to pick because I've got so many that mean a lot to me, like my Chris Stevens from Mike sketch covers from Par2ch, Adonis, Menace and a million more guys here. Here are 4 that I would definitely put in my top 4. (in no order):
I wanted a character from Adi that I'd never seen done before, and I love the Skull so this one is a no brainer for me. This is a CGC SS 9.8.
As everybody knows, I'm a huge Iron Man fan, so this War Machine one by Kevin Hopgood (War Machine creator and original Iron Man 282 cover artist) really is perfect for my collection.
This is a CGC SS 9.8, and I'm just a big fan of Mike Ploog and love his Ghost Rider. Nuff said!
Doug (Medicar) was kind enough to get this for me a few years back, and I just think it's brilliant. Michonne
My 5th choice I want to leave unlisted, as I have one being done now @ Phenix Comic Con, and I'm thinking this may be in my top 5.

My Red Skull statue arrived today, it's my first Sideshow model. Looks really cool next to my Adi Granov sketch cover.

Just put up some Iron Man 2 concept art by Adi Granov for sale

Your wife is awesome
Wife got me a 30th b-day cake: -
Thanks guys
I have a few cool War Machine sketches now, somebody needs to do a BOTB War Machine edition
-
Thanks Troy you know I'm Iron Man geek so it's one of my new faves.
-
Iron Man 282 recreation by the original cover artist Kevin Hopgood.
-
Spine roll? You mean miswrap...? That isn't damage to a book.
And the top staple doesn't look to be a condition fault, just looks like a printing defect.
Can't he show his book off proudly without nonsense?
I dig the book and the sig placements look bad azz and I know Herm is a good guy.
Maybe you didn't mean any offense but I'd be offended.

Sweet
What did you get signed?
I wish I could have met him. I figured you would have got something signed
-
That's awesome!!
So who else got a Hellboy comic signed by Ron Pearlman at C2E2? I got one Thanks to Nick and Andy.
Here's a nice little rarity I picked up at C2E2 this weekend - the CBG Hellboy insert: -
I'm in the club now, but it's nowhere near as good as yours of course...
-
Best Walking Dead 1 cover swipe I've seen.
-
You were wise to get some stuff signed by him Look forward to seeing yours.
-
Just quick photos from Doug.
These just got signed at C2E2 - Thanks to dscott (Doug).
I've been waiting for Alex Ross to appear for a long time now, I missed him a few years back at a C2E2 show and he hasn't shown up since so I'm happy to finally get these awesome covers signed. The Chew 1 cost me $2.50 a few months ago, so it should be fun to see what that grades as, I'm thinking it's anything from a 9.2 to 9.6 but the killer sketch makes it awesome whatever it grades at.

These are all great above.
Couple cool new ones.
Not the best of photos... just got a picture of this one from Dom and Frank Quitely:
It's on a JLA blank.
This was from Dan's op with Luke McDonnell... I'm still blown away by it!
and this is one that's not CGC SS, but means a lot to me (as I'm sure most of you know)...
Iron Man 128 Recreation... I will one day (hopefully soon) frame it with this:
and I don't think I've shown it before, but I recently got this from Troy:
Signed by Tim Roth & Louis Leterrier (Director of the Incredible Hulk).
Just figured i'd post up some stuff here.
-
I think this is the only one.
Mike Mignola, Alan Grant, and John Wagner.
Sorry for the crappy picture, I really need a scanner.
-
I guess.
I just feel it should have ended at 48 I guess.
Wanna fight?
Season 2 ended how I think Season 3 should have - Despair and hopelessness. That's the one thing I felt after reading issue 48, just the reality of aloneness and desperation that was in place for them, but I didn't take away any of that, it was just a clean ending.
I did love the episode though, but I just wish more risks were taken, but I guess it's a million dollar franchise, so why would they drastically change too much. I still feel like Hershel should have died, I think that may have been enough for me personally. ALL the deaths were not really A league characters.
My
That's because this wasn't issue 48, this was closer to issue 42.
