This is such a unique idea, it totally worked, it completes the book... the right amount..just enough to make the Steigerwald mark..Nice!

Second half of the story is in Action Comics 583 This one, though the book is not mine - yet. Mission completed! Where did you find one? Are the more? This is a surprisingly tough book to track down! Just caught this comment, so sorry for the delayed response. eBay for $46 + shipping, which had me doing backflips since I have been looking for over a year now and the only book that would come up repeatedly was Superman 423 - not Action Comics 583. One year!!!?...daaaaamn, I would never have thought it to be that hard to find..or for a specific grade?

I give out the most gianormous, hugest, and most out of this world KUDOS one can give, to Chandler and Sharon over at Desertwindcomics for the outstanding job they did in the SDCC in getting me hooked up with SIX (yes..six!!) McFarlane signatures (not to mention a couple of Stan Lee's up in the mix). Three Foreign ASM 298, a chrome ASM 300, a chrome Spiderman 1, and my personal favorite-- ..mmm..wait for it..wait for it.... ,,,, ... a Signed and Sketched Mexican ASM 300 by Todd McFarlane, and Signed By Stan Lee with the "Hola Amigo" written by him as well... it's my birthday..it's my birthday ..oh yea ..oh yeah..it's my birthday~!~ Here is two pictures my wife sent me of my son with the Chrome Spiderman 1 and the Mexican ASM 300....

Dude you have no idea.. if I had known that he'd sign it with a slong I would have boycotted his siggy It's salt in the wound because Joe Q & Craig Kyle's sigs look so nice and yet your distracted by that monstrosity What the hell is wrong with that guy, that can't be his REAL his..is it? It's such a sweet cover, plus Quesada didn't do his usual across the character's face bit..I really like the book but, that was not a very cool sig/sketch..whatever he did there...it's still a cool book though...
