  1. Baker OA is hard to price, there's so little of it. This is a beautiful example with her full figure dancing. Out of my comfort zone, but let's see where it goes.
  2. Look what just popped up on ebay. http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Matt-Baker-Flamingo-Original-Art-1-2-splash-Best-Page-of-Story-pg-5-/282482275499?hash=item41c54174ab:g:EegAAOSws5pZHFCA
  3. The only part of the cover that really might be Baker for me is the guy on the left with the open mouth. Baker did mouths like that. And yes, that is one weird cover.
  4. Super-Mystery Comics Vol.7 #6 Canadian Edition This Super- Mystery Comics is one tough cookie whether Canadian or American. Great Bert and Sue cover showing off Sue's lovely figure in a tight red dress (natch). Aside from the missing piece in the top right, this copy presents well with gloss. All attached. The American edition lists 48 pages, this has 36. Get it before they announce the Bert and Sue movie. SOLD! Returns accepted.
  5. By that time it would have been at close range and Harley would not be here.
  6. I'm in Toronto and about 20 years ago Dragon Lady acquired a collection sold on consignment from a biker guy from the backwoods named Duke. He had been farming this collection around for awhile but no one wanted to pay his price. DL agreed to sell for him. Someone suggested "fixing" some of the problems with the books, thus markers were used. He had some nice esoteric stuff. Timely's, Atom -age comics etc. I bought a few, my first Golden Age. Everybody knew of it. Harley went to see it, which required some backroad travelling, and when Duke looked out and saw he wasn't white, started shooting, this being a story I heard. A doctor friend of mine went to see the collection and purchased quite a few. The guy was Jed Clampett basically. Never met him and have long sold any copies I purchased. I seem to remember I had a Marvel Mystery 36 in fine, no resto. Should have kept it.
  7. No that cover is a terrible drawing of PL, not done by the master Matt Baker.
  8. CGC does not mention it, but I had a copy once, someone else I know had one too. The interior was Phantom Lady 17. No joke. Probably yours as well.
  9. Wish I'd seen this in time. A comic book cool enough to mention the Kinks.
  10. That's the cool thing about these rebounds.
  11. Here's my APATLS 1 I flipped through for the first time in years. Lots of Canteen Kate stories.
  12. DS nn is definitely the scarcest. Thanks to Davis Crippen there is a benchmark copy.
  13. I do, but I've never posted it, I haven't even scanned it. It doesn't have a grease pencil though. You've still got good esp. I'll try to scan it later.
  14. Hey that's my avatar. Nice going on the Church copy.
  15. Great copy. My copy is more vg+ and I've been looking for an upgrade for years.
