  1. I got it. Sold my under copy, which I had in a sales thread a few months go. It sold very, very fast. I know I paid out the ying-yang for the 5.0, but it is just so Uberly rare, had to have it. I remember seeing the Diary Secrets NN listed on the Heritage for sale site. It was listed at big bucks at the time and regretted not jumping on it at the time. I believe one of our boardies has it now. I knew it had to be someone from around here. May I ask what you got for your under-copy?
  2. Nevermind Overstreet, CGC didn't credit Baker with the ATAP Police Cases cover. CLink didn't notice it in their auction description until I emailed Doug with the info, as a good citizen.
  3. This one is still high on my list of books I'd love to find some day. But I know how freakishly scarce this one is. Me, too! There was one on a C-Link auction awhile back in 5.0 condition. I thought one of you guys grabbed it. It didn't go cheap.
  4. I have some Baker police squarebounds. This is one of them. The others aren't scanned.
  5. Girl in red dress in room tied up with creep to girl in blue dress in room tied up with creep.
  6. One of the toughest in grade. And that aqua background usually fades. The ebay copy had nice colours.
  7. I guess $100.00 was a lot for an APC 10 years ago. I would have jumped on it as I've always liked this cover. A low grade copy with a missing cf just failed to sell on ebay for $50.00.
  8. There is a cgc 8.0 (Lloyd Jacquet copy) and a 7.0 that came from the 6th St. collection.
  9. Ask Sqeegs. He has a copy. Here's a slightly cleaned up scan of Sqeggs' copy, which is the D copy, CGC 6.5, if I remember correctly... Yep. Bob also has a copy and I think I've seen at least one other boardie post a copy. I agree that this book, CL 25, and GCE 12 would probably bring the most if high-grade copies came to auction. I think CL 25 might be the winner in that competition. I think GCE12 would win. It has crossover appeal. Collectors who don't go after Baker go after this.
  10. I like the close-up. He doesn't usually get in that close.
  11. I've heard ppl say it was Check. Overstreet still says Wood.
  12. By issue 13 they lost the double reflection under the breasts. Wood was a master of double reflections.
  13. I've honestly never seen a ST 53 before, cool book. I got a few high grade Pre Hero Circle 8 books years ago, though not from Harley. I believe there were multiple copies of many of the Circle 8 books. Do you know if they all came through Harley ? He has always been a good source for Pre Hero. Harley said the copy I bought from him was very likely a Circle 8 copy. Although not 100% sure.
  14. It sold fast. Congrats. One of the first Bakers I ever picked up. Dealer gave it to me when I bought something else. Didn't know it was scarce. I'll dig it up, seem to recall it being a solid fine.
  15. I'm guessing Mitch is still recovering from "Batman v. Superman." The prognosis for recovering brain cells lost watching a Zack Snyder film is doubtful. Alas, once seen it can't be unseen. I need a lawyer. I'm suing for being subjected to that during a flight.
