  1. You mean a St. John's non-romance book, since PL and Seven Seas have brought big numbers for a long time. The highest graded copy of Authentic Police Cases #6 (6th Street copy I believe) 8.0, went on ebay for around $1500.00. It then resold on ebay in a BIN, correct me if I'm wrong, for $3550.00!! It took awhile, but memory says that's what happened.
  2. I remember bidding on this book. And not winning. Love it.
  3. I was a bidder. Hoped it wouldn't go that high, but not surprised.
  4. Killer book. Selling my copy was one of my top collecting regrets. Weak moment. Have any more info on the collection? What books were in there? Who was selling? The collection was MotorCity's, specifically Michael Goldman's. It was acquired from a wife and husband. They belonged to her father who had passed. They were in a stack on his wall with the only one in view the #1. I quickly asked to see them. There were about 9. Varying grades from vg- to vf. This was the priciest because of the condition and classic cover status. Before I purchased I took a phone pic and walked around showing it. People gasped. I would have liked to purchase all of them, but that wasn't possible. Lucky to have this. An incredible rarity. Nice pick up!!! Looks to be a really great copy. Thanks. It is nice. One of the best of the batch.

  6. Picked this up in MotorCity last weekend. From an OO collection of Centaurs.
  7. One of my first Bakers. Way back in the day.
  8. I know you had a soft spot for this book Joanna. My copy is okay, but a 9.0 would be nice.
  9. Just got this pressed. It's the Crippen copy, so it had some "waves". My guy got most of them out, in fact it's on his website. Cheap too, in case you want to save some money, I'll post his info.
  10. Holy Toledo! I met Ms. Myers twice. She set up at the MotorCity ComicCon back in the late nineties. Here I was looking for comics and I run into the most astounding Playmate of them all. A real sweetie. Sadly she is no longer with us. Sad to hear she had passed. Not to make light but it seems unlikely that drowning was the cause. Unfortunately it was lung cancer. She was in a few films. She was the drummer in Russ Meyer's Beyond the Valley of the Dolls, written by esteemed film critic Roger Ebert. Although not a great actress, her incredible proportions are quite on display. And the movie is a hoot.
  11. I once told someone if they ever find her centerfold, be prepared. You only get to see it for the first time once.

  13. Would you call this a stunner?
  14. Highest graded. It's a beauty.
