  1. Ebay sides with the buyer more than the seller. They gave the sellers a bone by allowing them to relist their krap for all eternity for free. Buyers get the advantage of leaving bad feedback. Sellers are terrified of bad feedback, since they've done away with retaliatory feedback. Any conflict usually results in favour of the buyer. Ebay needs more buyers than sellers. They'll always have sellers who list their krap for all eternity for free.
  2. Discounts on 2 remaining books before closing the thread.
  3. So a technical 0.5. Saw that auction, but thought it might even go higher, given the market.
  4. I'll dig up a group shot from a few years ago.
  5. I saw a Cinderella Love 29 sell on a thread, which inspired me to re-post mine.
  6. UndercoverGirl #6 What a great Powell cover. Fine Plus copy. Great bondage panels. SOLD!
  7. Nellie the Nurse #23 Great cover in good plus condition. All complete. $175.00 $145.00 shipped.
  8. Nellie the Nurse 19 Beautiful 6.5 copy. A 7.0 sold on Ha recently for $900.00. $475.00 shipped.
  9. Teen-age Temptations #7 I call this the double cleavage cover. Artful, tasteful. 3.5 with tear on the side by ashtray. Complete. Bottom staple is half popped. SOLD!
  10. Teen-age Temptations #6 Solid vg/vg plus with 2 sub creases. One breaks colour all the way down. the other doesn't. 4.0 on CLink sold for $650.00 recently. Great interior story. I posted a page. SOLD!
  11. Terrific Adventures 13 Rare Canadian hybrid. Contents are All Top 8 with Phantom Lady, Blue Beetle & Rulah. Inside front cover is blank, missing first Rulah page, Fox started stories on inside cover as we all know. Comic is complete and on staple, with no missing pieces. General wear brings it down to the Good/ Good plus range. Could do with a press. Chances are you'll never see another. $500.00 $400.00 shipped.
  12. 2 of the best covers ever. The second one is atypical and I happen to like it a lot. Shows how great Baker was with body language and other subtle details. The 17 is more erotic, in a way we've seen before, and it is note perfect, but the angry domestic scene is classic. It has pathos and shows the other side of love. You couldn't have picked better examples of his genius.
  13. Chamber of Chills 19 in 6.5 went for over $4600.00. 2K more than a 6.5 sold on Ha for last year.
  14. It sold for almost as much as the DS 17 in 7.5, with pen scribbling.
  15. The girl is saying "if Sue can get married, so can we". Is she referring to the girls marrying each other? (I had a female friend point that out to me, me being so naive and all).
  16. I would have ranked 4 and 5 a little higher. And 7 a little lower.
  17. Overstreet has always evaluated Baker Romance by how early the issue number is, but also by how many Baker stories are inside. Just a cover would not fetch as much as an issue with 2, 3 or 4 stories. We know that's not true. A Teen-age Romance with a fetching cover like #32, but no interior will get a premium. Also the scarcer issues will get more. At one time Cinderella Loves would guide at zilch because of no interiors. Overstreet finally wised up, but still has a lot of tweeking to do. Since prices can be volatile, I doubt that will happen.
  18. I remember this at auction. Not classic, but I like the splash. And she was a sweet young thing.
  19. TaR 41 is one of my favourite covers, and a real toughy.
  20. It seems like you chose the most violent cover as the best. It is a good one, I won't argue. I would have put 4 above 9. Just an excellent image.
  21. The next 2 are from the Davis Crippen collection, who seemed to know a thing or 2 about headlights.
