    There you go. These boards were always talking about Baker's hands, the middle fingers touching. Not this time. Even the comic cover it most closely resembles, Going Steady 14, which I don't like, has more going for it.

    There is no way that A-P A-T Love Story #2 is a Baker cover. Doesn't look like him, the characters are stiff and waxen. Just a hack job.

    Where do you get these amazing top of census books?

    I think GCE 12 has even more appeal than just Baker and GGA. It's the most valuable romance comic as designated by Overstreet, thus it's appeal to romance collectors. But I know ppl who are none of the above chasing this because of it's iconic status. It's an important book.

    Psychologically BIN's can work against you. I've seen many BIN's not sell, then go for more at auction. What a great cover. Very interested in what you eventually get because the sales data is scarce on this.

    I think they were from John's stash, or at least one of them. The Blackhawk 20 in 9.2 was in his inventory for years, tried to sell to me for $5K many times. It eventually went for just over $5,700.00. I guess his estimate of its worth wasn't far off.
