L'Angelo Misterioso replied to Professor Echo's topic in Golden Age Comic Books
My only takeaway here is that I should have discovered this hobby a loooong time ago -

Hello folks! Lately I've done some perusing through my late father's collection of comics, fanzines, encyclopedias, and other comic oddities. I found Overstreet guides 1-17, spanning the years 1970 to 1988. Great pieces of comic fandom history to have. For now, I'm looking to sell the one that started it all. Only 800 of this second edition were printed. Payment: PayPal only! Due within 7 days of agreement to a sale. Returns: I will accept returns within 7 days. Shipping: through USPS, to US only As a new member to the boards, I understand the nature of my position here in the sales threads, but I'm committed to making this a good sale and continuing my engagement with the boards. Thanks for looking! $400 OBO, plus shipping SOLD

Yep, I saw that copy on the 'bay. Tragic shape. Prices on active listings are meaning less and less to me over time, but I get your point that this isn't a book you see come up often. I'll see what I can do to improve its presentation and potentially get it graded. I'm very happy that I bothered to thoroughly check the shelves!

If money were no object I'd have probably bought every book in this thread. I can't wait to see the Planet books.

PGM Haunt of Fear #17
L'Angelo Misterioso replied to L'Angelo Misterioso's topic in Hey buddy, can you spare a grade?
Yeah it's very apparent to me that it's an old glue touch. Oh well. Book is otherwise okay and in much better shape than my Human Torch #13 that feels like it's 500 years old. -
