  1. Regrettably no. But I have a Foxhole 2 to sell you.
  2. Someone was very impatient with those Foxholes!
  3. Same. If someone wants something and I want to sell, then I name a price I'm happy with and at that point if they take it then it's theirs to do with as they please. If they don't want to pay my asking, then they can just move right on.
  4. In the old AFA-CPA zines there's a story about a dealer trading a Dave Sim Cerebus page for... favors.
  5. These DCs might be San Franciscos. What's the date on this catalog?
  6. That's probably Everett with an unusual inking. But for Matt Fox fans Twomorrows is releasing a dedicated book about him in September and you can preorder here. https://twomorrows.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=95_94&products_id=1711&fbclid=IwAR2X5kEOaXHNQGXx59Eztc76pxKz6NEh9Xf1Wlv0G-0y--YLZvlsANzKQGI
  7. The Liefeld-school treatment of the feet is a little wonky also.
  8. Yeah, if it's expendable income and you'd rather have either something else or the cash, then losing a few (thousand) bucks is acceptable. I mean it's supposed to be a hobby, not an investment.
  9. Fox over Lieber. I have the splash for this story also, but it's at the framer.
  10. Mike, since this is such a problem and the site engineers can't fix it, one thing that could make it slightly less painful is to remove that stupid popup asking for your email for the newsletter. That would be one less annoyance.
  11. My gut feeling on this book is that if I saw it pop up on a dealer's website it would probably be around $35k.
  12. How many bad decisions did she have to make to end up in that spot.
  13. Your book will be in contact with the archival board, so no worries on that end. The other board, while maybe not archival, should be buffered enough so that any concerns about decay into volatile chemicals is negligible at most. For the life span of most paper materials, all of this is overkill. But we're collectors and OCD by nature so we worry about it.
  14. A staple of the collecting community and a true loss for the hobby.
  15. I've been so happy with that setup. The FBs were always just a little soft, and I always just tossed HBs. Now they have a use!
  16. I've been placing the 56 pt board behind a Gerber full back in a Gerber mylite 2. Archival and indestructible.
  17. June 1955, Heath did 5 of 7 Atlas war covers. Battle Action 17 has a lot of Burgos(?) as well. Navy Action 6 has that little guy in the corner that Maneely added unnecessarily IMO. Burgos must have been feeling heavy handed.
