Also, you'd think she'd be happy with this one -- with a Rotten Tomatoes critics' score of 21% positive, it was a *lot* better received than "The Mummy" (just 15% positive).

Congrats to Timothee Chalomet for having the # 1 (Dune 2) and # 8 (Wonka) films at the box office this weekend.

Was extraordinarily stoked for that one based on the trailer, but by the time I finally tried to watch it via streaming years later, it just wasn't worth the time to complete.

At least Jonah Hex and Ghost Rider (1 and 2) were all in the "so bad they're good" categories.

That's truly weird - given that it's Warner Bros' # 5 highest-grossing film post-Covid.

It's insane that Aquaman 2 will already be streaming on Max while Wonka - which was a released a week earlier - is still rocking the top 10 in theaters and playing on more than 2,300 screens.

Again - not trying for spoilers, but if what's revealed in that Pitch Meeting episode is true...

I dumped 20% of my Paramount stock earlier this week on news that Warren Buffett had cut his stake, but I kept all of my WBD stock.

Fantastic Four (2015) - with just 9% positive.

Worse than even Jonah Hex - which I paid to see in the theater opening weekend.

It made more on Day # 4 than it did on Day # 1.

I've only seen a few episodes of For All Mankind but they were excellent - and if they can do the 60's for a TV show, they can certainly do it for an FF movie.

And as someone noted above, given the history of FF movies we've seen, this seems really risky for the cast at the current point in their careers - which actually gives me more faith in the script than usual.

Pascal and Kirby, at least, don't need this film.

Rotten Tomatoes currently has this tied with Morbius at 15% positive.

So...props to Sony for consistency, I guess?

I never understood the Gambit love - I mean, I was reading during his run (I bought Uncanny 251-308 off-the rack) and it was cool to see him in the X-Men cartoon, but I always preferred Longshot and Bishop - even Forge.
