Affleck is an A-lister. A-listers (to me) have a different set of rules. Because you don't know if you are ever going to get one again. Plus different people have different ideas of who their "must have" celeb is. Mine is Sean Connery on a Dr. No book. I would probably spend more on that than it is "worth." At some point - with very rare sigs - it is simply a matter of what amount will pry them out of another collectors collection.
I agree Sean, Connery has to be the most demanded celebrity that an SS book has not been accomplished yet. Personally, I don't think it will ever happen. I hope I'm wrong though.

It is impossible to say which is the rarest celeb SS book. There are too many that are high demand celebs that haven't signed anything yellow labeled yet and there are several who have only signed one or less that five SS books. Here are a few of my favorite SS celeb books that I know for a fact are one of a kind or have less than 5 SS books signed by these folks:

Too far out to hold books
Shatner is a guest at the Star Trek Con in Las Vegas in early August. I believe someone here on the boards is taking submissions for that show. You could add all the remaining 1966 cast at this show.

If I'm not mistaken you helped me out big time last year at Phoenix Comic Con - and personally handled my books for Sig Series after I handed them off. Thanks for looking out for them and treating them with respect. All came back 9.8 and above.
You are very welcome sir! I handle them funny books like they were new born babies!!!

An eye opener for anyone who thinks this job doesn't cost money (lol).
Baltimore Lauren and I are working on my taxes---we just finished the tally for money spent on signature fees for 2016.
This number includes checks and cash combined, to CBLDF, Heroes, ComicsSketchArt (Miller), Stan Lee, Jim Lee, celebs (the most expense there was BTTF cast), McFarlane, Romita, Claremont, Quesada, Conner & Palmiotti, Doug Moench, Hannigan, Milgrom, Ken Bald----the list goes on and on.
Not to mention celebs like Gene Simons, Chloe Bennett, Ming-Na Wen, Millie Bobby Brown, etc----it's a lot.
Grand total of $ spent on signatures for 2016
drum roll-----
$52,746
Ouch.
Quit it.
If I stepped away from Signature Series TODAY----I'd be saving over $50K to start!
Mere peanuts Richie, I have to spend that much at Tiffany & Co. in San Diego to woo Laura into helping us at the SDCC every year!!!

Bernie Wrightson Tribute Page
March 18th the comic book community lost of of it's giants. Bernie Wrightson was widely regarded as the MASTER of the MACABRE. He co-created the Swamp Thing, his Frankenstein illustration work was iconic, and as a horror illustrator he stands as one of the all-time greats. His intricate pen and brushes was uncanny. A true artistic genius. A monumental artist admired by his peers & other great artists. He was also one of the kindest and most humble creators one could ever meet. Our hobby will never be the same without him. RIP Bernie.
This thread is to celebrate the incredible legacy of the Master. Please post your Wrightson art, signed comics, and/or
even share a story:

Very sad news, Raph was a great person in our community. One of the great joys of collecting comics is meeting wonderful people who have a like interest. Raph is one who I will never forget. My condolences to his family for this terrible loss.
