  1. Instead of submitting them as Garbage Pail Kids cards maybe you can submit them as "baseball cards" with the error back ;-)
  2. Hi NickiO, The slab was returned to CGC (CGC2643413762) and now is back without the expected correction! The grader provided the note in the photo below! What a waste of my time... 1. Your list on https://www.cgccards.com/population-report/pokemon/2/starter-decks/48/beginning-set-hs-japanese/3749/?page=1 is wrong; 2. Check on https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Beginning_Set_(TCG) for the correct list of cards in these Japanese decks and their numbers; 3. specifically for this Emboar the correct number is 008/037.
  3. my $0.02 of experience with cross grading can be summarized as "nothing unexpected" the two EvS cards got same 9 mark as the original grade from two "weird" grading shops the PSA8 Leafeon got unlucky in the hands of USPS and the slab developed vertical crack on the back which left slight mark on the card back so going done to CGC 7 is understandable; Skyla going from GMA10 to CGC9.5 is "rounding error" in my book NOTE: cards were submitted in bulk grading batch (22 for regular + 4 for subgrades) and came back fairly fast -- received at CGC on 3/10 and we have them back on 3/15
  4. In a recent card Submission #4218414 one of the cards is assigned the wrong card set number: wrong 18 vs the correct 008/034 (see Cert # 4218414004). We are supposed to receive the Fedex shipment later today but in general what is the process for correcting such typos? TIA, Alex
