  1. Haven't tried a trade thread for a couple of years now, but figured it was that time again. Not looking to sell. I am a collector and not a dealer nor a flipper. It is just that my collecting focus has changed over time. Also, I don't sell to buy (so no need to suggest that). When I do sell, the funds ALWAYS go to a family account; but when I trade, the books go to MY collection. We each are responsible for safe shipping of books. I package double-boxed, Priority Mail insured and well protected with bubble-wrap and shipping peanuts. Trade values based on 90-day GPA (or GoCollect and/or recent eBay sales if neither has subscription to GPA, I don't) at time of trade. I don't mind using cash/PayPal to even up a trade in either direction, but prefer focus of trade to be graded books for graded books. Members in good standing only. Here is what I have available (sorted somewhat by year). Available for trade: Fantastic Four #37 (Apr, 1965) CGC 7.5 Silver Surfer #4 (Feb, 1969) CGC 9.2 Green Lantern #85 (Aug, 1971) CGC 9.2 SS (Neal Adams) Incredible Hulk #181 (Nov, 1974) CGC 9.2 (trade-up only) Giant-Size X-Men #1 (May, 1975) CGC 9.2 (trade-up only) Marvel Feature #1 (Nov, 1975) CGC 9.6 X-Men #99 (Jun, 1976) CGC 9.0 (30-cent variant) X-Men #103 (Feb, 1977) CGC 9.4 X-Men #121 (May, 1979) CGC 9.6 X-Men #137 (Sep, 1980) CGC 9.6 X-Men #157 (May, 1982) CGC 9.6 Logan's Run #6 (Jun, 1977) CGC 9.4 Star Wars #1 (Jul, 1977) CGC 9.2 Star Wars #3 (Sep, 1977) CGC 9.4 Star Wars #4 (Oct, 1977) CGC 9.4 Star Wars #4 (Oct, 1977) CGC 9.6 SupeRichie #13 (Feb, 1978) CGC 9.4 SupeRichie #15 (Jun, 1978) CGC 9.8 Looking for: Open to trades on just about any high grade bronze Marvel 1st appearance. Also interested in low grade silver Marvel #1 issues. Top priority for Hulk #1 3.0, Hulk #181 9.6, and Fantastic Four #1 3.0. Preferred non-Signature Series. Scans to follow...
  2. 7.0. But lower if that is moisture stain on top of back cover.
  3. 6.5 but possibly lower depending upon additional back cover flaws.
  4. One of my all-time favorite sci-fi movies. I have the whole run slabbed and a couple, complete, high-grade raw runs as well. Loved the Blade Runner reboot (was my favorite movie from 2017). Hope they can catch lightning in a bottle again with this one.
  5. Nice! That comic in that grade is on my list as well. Congrats!
  6. My experience has been that stains get hammered. I am at 7.0 at best. But still a great book.
  7. Got mine yesterday and can't wait to read it! Thanks Tim!
  8. Forgot to mention that I almost fell asleep a few times in the first two acts. Third (final) act was better and what brought my "rating" up to average.
  9. Saw it last night. Average movie at best. The best parts involved Rey and Luke. The rest was trash (that might be a bit harsh, but maybe not). Much of the movie seemed dedicated/focused on putting cute creatures on the screen for the post-movie merchandising.
  10. Let's go with $1214.03. Look forward to this every year. Awesome thread.
  11. Looks like one of the snowballs hit Magneto in the back of his magnetic field. That's a wicked curve ball.
  12. One of the snowball projectiles is missing on this cover.
  13. I re-watched the original Blade Runner Director's Cut last night and then watched 2049 today. The movie is a visual stunner and story holds up well. I will definitely be buying the 3D version when it comes out.
  14. High grade all the way! For you low grade losers... er, I mean collectors, let's make a deal! But seriously, my preference is as many high grade keys as possible. I do have some low grade keys also, but they are really place-holders of which I would trade multiples for that one high grade must-have key.
  15. Just watched the first two episodes. I thought it was okay. I felt the first few episodes of Marvel Agents of Shield were about the same. But then that show got better. I will keep watching.
  16. Good point. If that is a tear, I drop my grade to 7.5. If not, then I keep my grade at 8.5.
