  1. X-Men #99 (Jun, 1976) CGC 9.0 (30-cent variant) (FMV $425) (This book was pressed by Joey)
  2. Haven't tried a trade thread in a while, but figured it was that time again. Last trade was completed on the boards for a Hulk #181 CGC 9.6 (thanks Roy!). Not looking to sell. I am a collector and not a dealer nor a flipper. It is just that my collecting focus has changed over time. Also, I don't sell to buy (so no need to suggest that). When I do sell, the funds ALWAYS go to a family account; but when I trade, the books go to MY collection. We each are responsible for safe shipping of books. I package double-boxed, Priority Mail insured and well protected with bubble-wrap and shipping peanuts. Trade values based on 90-day GPA (or GoCollect shown below as a default for discussion if neither has subscription to GPA, I don't) at time of trade. I don't mind using cash/PayPal to even up a trade in either direction, but prefer focus of trade to be graded books for graded books. Members in good standing only. Here is what I have available (sorted somewhat by year). Available for trade: X-Men #1 (Sep, 1963) CGC 4.5 (FMV $7000, upgrade only) no longer available Daredevil #1 (Apr, 1964) CGC 3.0 (FMV $1450) no longer available Silver Surfer #4 (Feb, 1969) CGC 9.2 (FMV $2350) no longer available Green Lantern #85 (Aug, 1971) CGC 9.2 SS (Neal Adams) (FMV $280 w/o signature) Marvel Feature #1 (Nov, 1975) CGC 9.6 (FMV $110) X-Men #99 (Jun, 1976) CGC 9.0 (30-cent variant) (FMV $425) X-Men #103 (Feb, 1977) CGC 9.4 (FMV $130) X-Men #121 (May, 1979) CGC 9.6 (FMV $300) X-Men #137 (Sep, 1980) CGC 9.6 (FMV $170) X-Men #157 (May, 1982) CGC 9.6 (FMV $55) Logan's Run #6 (Jun, 1977) CGC 9.4 (FMV $65) Star Wars #1 (Jul, 1977) CGC 9.2 (FMV $220) Star Wars #3 (Sep, 1977) CGC 9.4 (FMV $85) Star Wars #4 (Oct, 1977) CGC 9.4 (FMV $100) Star Wars #4 (Oct, 1977) CGC 9.6 (FMV $120) SupeRichie #13 (Feb, 1978) CGC 9.4 (FMV Unknown, Let's say $25) SupeRichie #15 (Jun, 1978) CGC 9.8 (FMV Unknown, Let's say $50) Phoenix The Untold Story #1 (Apr, 1984) CGC 9.4 (FMV $36) Looking for: Open to trades on just about any high grade bronze Marvel 1st appearance. 3. I guess a moderator has to approve my brother's first post...
  4. I always liked the Star Trek figures and the Planet of the Apes figures the best also. I asked him to post pics to this thread when he gets a chance. A lot of the vehicles and sets part of the collection is boxed up in a closet. The figures are somewhat more accessible if I remember correctly.
  5. @G.A.tor Rick, my brother will PM you tomorrow. He hasn't logged into the boards for a while. He did say he was humbled by the part of your Mego collection that you shared above. I don't think he has any superheroes you don't already have (looks like you have them all). He does have some of the rare Movie Monsters and Western Heroes figures as well as some of the vehicles and sets. Cheers, Dennis
  6. How could I forget G.A.tor? Yes, you are the boardie I was thinking of. Pics remind me of my brother's cases.
  7. My twin brother (ebay ID is megokid) probably has one of the largest Mego figure collections in Orlando. I seem to recall a boardie who collects Mego's as well and whose collection might be even bigger than my brother's collection. He is about to put some of his prized collection up for sale or trade. He has boxed and carded, some extremely rare figures and many common. I was always partial to the Star Trek aliens myself, but those are definitely not the most rare. He has every known superhero, Universal movie monsters, and many, many more. All collector quality. When he told me that he needs to move some of these, I said "Hey, I know at least one boardie who has a huge Mego collection" so he asked me to reach out to see if you wanted to try to work something out (sale and/or trade) before he lists anywhere. Please PM me if interested (and sorry I forgot which one of you is the Mego collector. My use of the search function didn't yield any good results; but I know I will recognize the boardie name when I see it). Cheers, Dennis
  8. l will start off by saying that I was completely turned off by the trailers and almost decided to avoid this movie in the theaters and just wait for Netflix or HBO. But my wife saw this by herself earlier in the week, and we generally like the same movies. She said it was good. Wonder Woman is her all-time favorite movie, while Infinity War is mine. And my 12-year old daughter wanted to see this with her dad, so I figured worst case, I at least get to spend a couple of hours with my daughter. We went to the 4:35 pm showing to a theater that was about half full (bigger crowd than I expected and mostly adults with very few kids). This movie was a lot of fun! Laughter from the audience throughout the whole movie and good action/fight scenes. And the story actually worked for me. Didn't seem forced or too unbelievable in my opinion. Admittedly, I was also one of the few who liked Suicide Squad (and even the Leto Joker), but I think this movie was actually at least as good and perhaps even better. Go give this movie a shot. You will be glad you did.
  9. WTTB! It is a common printing defect with that issue. I have a CGC 9.6 with it (but not as bad).; and I have seen 9.8's also.
  10. This is ASM #194! I think first post also listed as #192 instead
  11. Thanks. Congrats on the jackpot raffle win!
  12. Membership has its privileges! I've been trying to acquire one in this grade for quite some time.
  13. Sweet! I don't have these comics or tapes. Never knew this was on my list until now!
