  1. I think that's what you're going to get with that lower right corner. Beautiful book! (Wish it was mine...)
  2. 1 3 2 4 9 6 5 7 8 10 My ranking would be: 1 3 4 2 9 6 5 7 10 8
  3. Guess I should get in while the getting is good... Low-grade, but a purty low-grade...
  4. Dunno if I've posted mine before... But here's a few.
  5. Anyone know what these are? What country? Are the desirable? I do have a few second tier keys like the first few Teen Titans, Showcase appearances of the Specter and the first Poison Ivy.
  6. Disagree with those two for sure. Flash 106 is pretty darn pricey for Gorilla Grodd and the Pied Piper. I believe it is the second most valuable book in the entire Flash run. (I don't think that it should be, I think that honor should belong to 123.) As to MS5, two horrible movies for a C level character should be the kiss of death, yet MS5 kind of defied that expectation and is still up there in the same ball park as Hero for Hire 1. That is staying power if you ask me.
  7. Well, there used to be a rather long thread, but it's sprouted into a bunch of little ones.
  8. I just died inside a bit That looks a lot like the slabbed BB28 that the guy shot with a shotgun.
  9. Not a good picture, but bottom right corner is chewed. My first All Select.
  10. A brutally tough issue to find in that condition! It may be the toughest Flash of them all to find. If were talking just Barry Allen, then I agree 100%.
  11. Wow. That's an amazing copy. Never seen one that pretty in the wild.
  12. It was a struggle to get half that just a few years ago.
  13. Two words. Rusty staples Maybe, maybe not. Mine have been in a fire proof safe for 5 years with no signs whatsoever of anything like that. Of course, I regularly open the safe and have about 10 pounds of silicate crystals in the bottom of it.
  14. Holy ! That's no doubt the nicest slabbed run of All Select in existence. Wow.
  15. I like All Winners and love some of the covers, but the run is a little longer than I like. I think if cash reserves ever recover it will be USA. Great choice!! I have 5 of the 9 USA run of the Cap vs axis covers.(6-14) Some USA's are stupidly hard to find. But you'd be used to it from the All Select run. USA may actually be the toughest of the bunch. I figure I have from now until I die.

  17. Thanks guys. I know it's not the million dollar baby some of you guys are packing, but for me, this was hard as hell.
  18. Well after years of searching (On a limited budget... ), I have finally completed my All Select run. Yeah, I know there's a 11 but no Cap, so it's off my list for now. Though my OCD might get the better of me in the future. I would be curious to know if anyone else has the run slabbed. Based on what I've seen there has to be 10 or less slabbed runs. For those that are interested. 3 and 10 were very difficult for me. (Both bought on the boards.) 4 was torture as I had all but that one for years. That one I purchased on the boards last week. (Shout out to DrBanner) Just to show the power of this place, this entire run, except 5, was purchased from the sales forums right here.
  19. Very unusual for someone to purchase duplicate and triplicate copies off the rack in the early 1960s. I'll clarify better. He bought comics from 1964 to 1977 off the spinner rack. From 1965 to 1968 he would often buy 2 issues. 1 to read and one to save. He would buy or trade for comics from the early 1960's and liked having more of 1 of the early issues. I call that "foresight".
  20. Anything going on with these? No activity in the thread in a while.
  21. It's the first appearance of a good Hulk cover in that series.
