Chicago has been my favorite because in the past I have not set up but gone more to enjoy hanging with friends and buying a few books (vs selling) NYCc has become the best sales con for us. It's kind of what sdcc was years ago. Plus it's a great city I still love sdcc, especially the weather! Megacon in Orlando is a decent show as is heroes...but again from the sales side of the booth, they are all a lot of work

my truthful answer is that outside of the "regulars " I would expect very little in the way of awesomeness. The show is just too pricey ... Cost me $10k just to set up...at a 10% avg mu I have to do 100k in sales to break even (just the nature of my inv). For me, I rather sell that 100k here on the boards at even half profit and actually net a small return That said., the people are why I am going to sd... So i expect that to be awesome!

If you're happy with it, then it is a good deal. From a fair market perspective, it is probably priced a little high.

believe it or not ow is pretty standard for supes 1. I think most every copy I've owned has been ow or better. Kind of like supe 14. Just a better quality paper used I guess

I misunderstood the question...the first "silver" age WW (I assumed comic) is issue 79 or 80something, depending on when you view the SA as starting... the first time WW 's character changed, appears to be the 98 issue

I collect ga ww and from a time standpoint I consider 78 last ga issue and 79 is technically first sa issue...hence first sa appearance ... Since I consider detective 225 the start of the sa (nov 1955) the first ww issue of dec 1955 is issue 79 (78 came out a week before det 225 so technically precedes sa/ends ga...for me)
