  1. So to help stop the stereotyping, you'll not be posting any more Jessica Beal threads?. I'm sure your daughters are smart and nice to others....hopefully, they will learn that is what lasts:) There are plenty of guys with self esteem issues too...but most people recognize actors and actresses as just that....and know that Wonder Woman and Jessica Rabbit, Green Lantern and Batman are drawn and they can enjoy the pictures and the drawings for the art. I enjoy the pictures you guys post...they never offend me and I never thought I had to look that way, neither does my daughter, nor any of my friends daughters. no way will I stop posting about JBiel...my kids know the difference between "fantasy" and reality... I just feel that the pressure on kids today appears, at least from my vantage point, to be so much greater than it was 25+ years ago when I was their age, that I just try to anchor them best I can
  2. I litterally have to beat my 16 and 14 year old daughters to get them to eat properly, because of the pressure out there (both peer and society), on "looks"... all the parental "ok" in the world, doesn't change or alleviate that pressure, we just have to hope we have raised the kids to be happy with who they are
  3. wait a minute...STOP the presses.... someone actually pressed a book to improve aesthitics and not improve a money grab I'm shocked (just kidding) that is the perfect example of a book that needed a press (thumbs u
  4. a wonderful book (I think I had a 4.5, but I don't even remember)...not all that scarce as the "old" perception, but still, any copy is a good copy (thumbs u
  5. I see an 8.0 in the upcoming clink collection that will be mine... all mine bwaaabwaaa

  8. Clever, my dear Watson, very clever. Am I alone in noticing the the last word in your post was "gullible", thus doubling the impact? I wasn't that clever, pov. that obvious huh I respect your friendly resolve and I'm well aware that it's there for me just like it would be there for you as well. However, if you believe that load of fertilizer, then you're still gullible, just not doubly so. my yard needs some fertilizer and turf builder, can I count on a visit from you and maybe some help spreading the cra.p around My dear sir, there is enough cr@p in this thread to fertilize the entire state of Florida.
