So to summarize, you're mad at us for calling you a d.u.m.b.a.s.s because you were a d.u.m.b.a.s.s and didn't want to listen to anyone and try to understand that you were a d.u.m.b.a.s.s. So now this morning, you actually investigate what everyone was telling you, and you come to the conclusion that you were a d.u.m.b.a.s.s, and you make an apology that isn't really an apology, it's to make the people that were calling you a d.u.m.b.a.s.s less credible for calling you a d.u.m.b.a.s.s opps...I left out "I still think you are a d.u.m.a.s.s." This is your unetided post Dice....nice, you have a classy way of getting your point across I've been plowing through this and one thing I keep noticing, is the lack of class in YOUR posts. Frankly, I expected better from someone who is clearly not a teenager. There is a way to answer without calling people names, threatening and being all around defensive. I'm not perfect, I'm not sure I know anyone who is ...Mistakes are permitted, but the more you ramble on, the clearer it becomes that this was not an error. If Roy and Gator don't think your statement is credible, then I doubt you have much of a crowd standing with you. The other thing that bothers me, is your refusal to answer a simple question. I think my second post in this thread was that I didn't think frank would intentionally deceive anyone... that has been my experience with frank, and we go back almost 20 years... outside of ben, I might know him the longest among boardies... so when the thread first popped up, I had his back, as anyone would have of a friend... but when frank did post what everyone felt was a contradictory statement, I did PM frank and ask him to clarify, and I guess he was still under the impression that he didn't have the scans mixed up... it was only then that I questioned him, because it was obvious that something was wrong... but, if you know frank, he does come out swinging first, and reacting more rationally second... if he says that is what happened (he made a mistake), well, I have to believe him... and if his style is to post the way he posts, well then, as I also mentioned 40 pages back, that is his style... it is not mine, but who am I to judge someone else, not my place... probably my last word on this subject

I think I just somewhat accurately calculated that the statistical possibility/probability that any 2 random copies of the same comic could have what appear as identically placed, visually the same, noteworthy flaws (I used 4 marker flaws)... now, I had to take some liberty with my calculations, but here it is (drumroll)... .000000000001 %

Frank says the books are different, nothing wrong done, his closest board friends support him (although apparently privately, not publicly) 99% of the boards say the books are the same from the compelling visual evidence and frank has lost the trust of 99% of the board... pretty much sums it up Rick, as anybody knows I would want to get along with everyone...I get razzed for it all the time...but those books are 100% identical. There is just no question. Anybody that has owned 1000's and 1000's of books knows that there are no two 100% identical copies. There are books that I have owned dozens and dozens of copies of and I would be able to tell every single one of them apart. That's not the case here. The evidence is pretty simple, in that it's too much of a coincidence that Frank bought a CGC 8.5 and now an exactly identical raw 9.2 is sitting for sale a month later from the same person. In a court of law it would be a slam dunk. Now I'm not that fussed about the fact that he calls it a 9.2. It even looks like a 9.2 from the scan (okay, maybe a 9.1) but what I am fussed about is an outright lie. I can't go against what my eyes show me as naked evidence. If he has friends that are supporting him, then it sounds like a whole new division has been created over this incident and that is what is really, really sad. On the one hand I don't want to lose some board members as friends and on the other hand I can't go against what my eyes are telling me is sitting in front of me. well, the court of the boards has already deteremined they are the same book...and have found frank guilty... that said, it is statistically possible that 2 books contain identical flaws (I know, I know)... and since I am a friend of the damned, I can not be a judge or on the boards jury, I am just out here in the aisles, shaking my head at the situation...

No. Read the thread. He sold the book listed in the Board sales to "an eBay buyer". Didn't say it was listed ON eBay. He contacted some folk who had bought from Frank ON eBay and asked if they'd be interested in the book. One said yes. NO eBay "sale" link. NO "paper trail". NO listing of the book here and on eBay at the same time - for what it's worth. I was going to wade through all the posts to make sure someone else could read what he said too... saved me 7 more pages
