Have not been graded yet. You mean the Mound copy is a cgc graded 8.0, or am I missing something here? Let me clarify: 1) The Mound #22 graded CGC 8.0 with C/OW PQ 2) The Mound #23 and #24 have not been graded by CGC yet. Are you kidding? This one´s a 8.0 and mine is a 7.5? Yep. Rick, I have no problem telling the Boards that your 7.5 went for $10,500. And I hope you do not either. A well deserved fetch for a well deserved book. To me, it set a new 5 figure plateau for non-9.0 22s, and deservingly so. I love the book. no problem for me...I respect the buyers right to reveal... though, now it will be included in my OSPG report (thumbs u

great research... interesting to see the pricing... as mentioned, 7.5's going for north of $10K is the new "bar"... what we have to see is where the market will take 5.0's and 5.5's and 4.0's etc... while they are not necessary "rare", they are currently in short supply with increasing demand...that makes for higher prices

I think this will just be the beginning of SC 22 to come out... if you think about it, a couple of months ago I was getting $1500 for 5.0's (where they previously were selling in the 750 range), and since then, 4.0's are getting 1750 +...so, that fact that there are a LOT of copies (albeit mainly lower grade) out there... many more will surface at the pace they are pricing!@

I find it interesting that other DC titles, such as Action and Superman had many great WW2 themed covers, while Batman and DC did not have many at all. truthfully, I bet they found themselves unable to "compete" with the schomburgs at the time...either that, or they wanted to do funny books "their" way

not axis covers in BM, that I recall... there are a few War themed, but that is it as far as Hitler, etc

it is no secret that of all the early tecs I have owned, that copy was my favorite... happy it has found a home where it will be enjoyed as much as I did (twice!) surprised you let it go Rick..you just got it back, but I guess every book has it's "price" (thumbs u you are correct...t3quila heard "no" about 10 x before he finally got me to say yes.... very tough book to part with! tell me about it I remember well ...
