  1. I guess if there were more naked women on the pulps, I might could get into them
  2. I have always stayed away from trimming...but, tec 27 is so superior and important of a comic compared to adv 40, it is not even close for me, even with the trimming
  3. yep ,that has been well established for a long time...
  4. Thnx Bob - I'm starting to get hooked, as well. Pardon me sir - please allow me to assuage your anguish with this (another new arrival yesterday - why, it's just like Christmas!): Dang it Steve Stay in your own league! Stick to Larsons and other high grade issues. Now you've started swimming in my end of the pool I was thinking the same thing...I love that range of books in the grades steve's got them!
  5. Do you happen to have the rest of the story scanned? No, just those two pages. well, there is time to kill today
  6. (thumbs u Thanks Russell, you should be getting an up close look at it over Christmas (thats right, 2 geeks that live within 8 miles of each other: go ahead .... be envious ... it's ok). I think I can sense a mini geekfest brewing .... well, I am only about 1350 miles away, that is pretty close for a visit, right
  7. I'm very disappointed in quite a few people who seem to be buying comics and art as if there is no crisis! I demand a congressional investigation!
  8. Well, not quite "easy" my friend. In today's market, either of the two 9.0s (one of which is a "potentialized" 7.5, if memory serves) would have a hard time breaking $30k. I'm with you, as a high grade Timely nut, I'd happily take the MMC # 2 over the AA # 16. But I have no problems admitting that the AA # 16 is by far the more significant book, with the higher investment ceiling (especially if the Mile High 9.4 ever sells for over $1 mil, as rumored). (thumbs u
  9. don't forget, I have 2 restored copies, only need 1
  10. damn parker... are you trying to complete the ENTIRE golden age
  11. cool...thank goodness I decided "against" upgrading my copy, or I would have unknowingly cost you more, or cost me more...
  12. even tougher are the early to mid 50's DC.... but, I think that AA 75-102 is quite a challenge, and I congratulate you on your pickup!
  13. and, restored or not, but AA 16 destroys MMC 2 in my mind
