  1. still in awe...wish the fishler would track one down for me
  2. girls in tubes, mad scientists, robots
  3. I think of all the collections board members possess, yours is the one I'm most envious of. it is a lovely set up
  4. The toughest issues of KDF are, in approximate order: v1#10 (the toughest) v1#9 (brutal as well) wish I had a 1/10
  5. I love amazing man...issues 5-11 are great...12-21 are pretty good, 22 is DA BOMB and 23-24 are cool...25-26 are close to, and impossible (respectively)...
  6. and the hits just keep on comin'. quite a "hit" you have there
  7. that is a nice one...2-4 are tough, but great Eisner art!
  8. The toughest issues of KDF are, in approximate order: v1#10 (the toughest) v1#9 (brutal as well) -gap- v2#1 v1#11 v1#8 #22 v2#4 v2#7 #21 -gap- v2#8 v2#2 v2#6 #20 #19 #18 #23 There are 6 others that are tricky to varying degrees, depending on your luck at the time -gap- #24 v2#9 (these are the only two that I would consider easy) I will agree with win.... I have been looking for a 1/10 forever, and I THink win has the Mile High copy so it is almost impossible to find... I would also add that #20 is so classic (gerber cover) that while it is not "impossible" to locate, it is very tough to find someone to sell one (thumbs u
  9. if you are happy with the price you are being offered it for, buy it (thumbs u
  10. pre-codes gotta get me a few of dem pre codes
  11. slightly brittle to offwhite....but, beggars can't be choosers! see you in just over a week!
  12. I think win's copy might be better anyway (thumbs u
  13. thanks...I was fortunate Win had a copy, and the Pq wouldn't meet your standards
  14. Here's mine, but it's an oversized book so I'm afraid the scanner cut off the edges. that one is nice!!!...I will check tonight to see if my scanner is big enough to capture entire cover...
  15. also, Win and I are eventually/likely to make a trade, that will have the Lloyd Jacquet Keen #1 in his collection, and maybe we can even get the Mad Ming Larson FP's reunited ... (thumbs U
  16. I could probably manage it. You're a big help! Looking at the scans side-by-side after cropping and a simple "color enhance" to even out the contrast, I think Rick wins because the scan he sent me off-list was so much bigger than it doesn't have any "crinkling" in the solid colors from compression. They're both a big improvement. If I were any good with my "lite" Photoshop, I could probably patch his date with your scan. If anyone wants to try it for fun, I'll send the scans. Thanks, Jack I would go with Win's, because of the no hole punch...but, as you mention, if someone can superimpose the hole punch out, then you have the best of both worlds!
  17. Here's mine, if that helps: Great run, Rick. That #1 is downright impossible to find, and #2 is quite tricky. be you tiff ol
