  4. Damn nice SS1. I want that book by the end of the Summer Thanks CC... it's well worth having!! (thumbs u (I had a request to post some interiors from the SS1 and 7... i'll do that in the SILVER STREAK thread in the next few days) There is only one sale for SS1 noted under GPA which was in Heritage. Talk about rare. Besides your copy, I have only seen 2 others Berk's and Bedrocks actually, the Pay copy now resides with Parker... I had to decide to cull 2 of the 4 SS I had... do I keep 1 and 2, or do I keep 6 and 7...I went with the more "iconic" 6 and 7 as Keepers, and let Ryan twist my arm for the 1

Jack I had the whole run of star spangles from 65 on (first robin ) back in the early 90's, and I actually found these issues to be the best reads of the run!
  9. well, in fairness to ryan, I paid him for the commissions, and he simply bought books from me that I knew he wanted with some of those proceeds (oh, he owes me a LOT more $'s, I am nice, but not THAT nice ).... I just meant we "both" got what we wanted (thumbs u
  10. well, you guys saw what I got out of the deal, so I thank you as well, ryan!
  11. maybe a couple of folks that really want? Really want would be the understatement of the century. And crazy. These books are not that rare in that grade (or at least won`t be, if these are top of census). Maybe the same buyers of zilla4f`s SAs have decided to become Duck collectors? sometimes folks get caught up in the "now" too (thumbs u
