  1. eh, it's ok.... great , and I mean GREAT accomplishment
  2. that's going to be a tough centerfold to find; i'll be looking for it, geek.
  3. this little beaut arrived today, and closed my Mystic run... thanks to Paul!
  4. (thumbs u And Beagle Boys! what about the Beastie boys
  5. it's understandable, with the funny stuff run taking up so much of your time. I will say one thing, funny stuff was a GREAT run to share with my son (thumbs u unfortunately, he doesn't care for Daring or Mystic, so I am on my own! i talked to the little dude; he hates funny stuff. acted like he didn't just to humor you. I got the same story. He told me he thinks Batman is cool, but Dodo & The Frog blows. Blacky the Bear "was" his Favorite... he is definitely partial to Batman!

  8. No kidding? Yeah. I can't believe someone around here hasn't brought it up before.
  9. I can't believe I ignored Daring and Mystics for so long....
  10. actually, Mr B, if you even "bothered" to read my post, you would see that I already detailed the 2 sales of these exact books, in "todays' market ($17500 for the CV Fan 3 and reportedly $35K for the 6.5, but sold raw MMC9)... geezh, what do I have to do to get an OSPG advisor appointment
  11. What's not to like? Beautiful! (thumbs u Thanks folks! What I find interesting is this book has not been seen by the public since about 1975 when I purchased it and locked it away in my collection. The same holds true for most other books I'm having fun showing. I don't pretend to have what BangZoom does but that's what I appreciate about BangZoom sharing his collection. It's like an archeological dig ... comics that haven't seen the light of day for decades. that is great...something I can't say...all the comics I bought in the 80's and through mid 90's, I had to sell to start my business...every comic I own now (GA) I have bought in the last 3 years, almost all in public venues....so, they are nothing "special" when compared to someone like your or BZ showing those great treasures virtually none of us have seen before... keep on posting! gator
  12. I was asleep at the wheel, nice...no GREAT, pick up (thumbs u
  13. Thanks! (thumbs u I searched "shark" and this thread didn't come up! Were you searching in General Forum? No, definitely Gold. I just did it again. Used "shark" and even went back 10 years. That thread doesn't show up for me. it is in the General forum, so if you only searched gold, you likely won't find it I searched "all forums", and it was there (thumbs u
  14. while I really want a Fantastic 3, eventually Metro will sell some copies so, MMC9 for me...probably the most significant "non major" key of the GA...and, considering I believe this same copy resold for about $35K recently, quite the investment...the Central Valley 5.5 Fant 3 sold for about $17500 recently, i was told...not as good on the return
