  1. I'm with the gator on this one. (thumbs u well, it has been rumored we share the same brain! ... ... transit times in shipping back and forth is the only real drawback.... bill is such a genious, he can spare 1/3 of his brain and that makes me smarter than the entire LSU campus! gator Where does that leave Billy Parker? good question...I guess the fact that parker is a grad, and not currently on campus, would help me out...because we all know parker is a dern genious compared to me , too

  3. parker will finish the publisher in no time! Like your Gators finished off my poor Noles last night. That was brutal. Jeff hopefully won tebow the heisman.... was fun to watch from my perspective, but noles will come back (hopefully later than sooner) rick It looks like he is gonna win it after last nights performance! My hats off to him - he's had a very impressive year. Jeff as a mourning tiger fan, i'm not sure if i'd prefer mcfadden win the trophy or get hit by a bus. the former, i guess. maybe. mcfadden only had 2 "great"/heisman type games this year, Tebow had 10...I can't believe anyone will vote him 1st place (3rd or lower for me) rick
  4. i do not; one of 10 overall i need. see signature below. and thanks. indeed a tough book, here is my beater....jon nice

  7. great holiday! hope you and your family did too!
  8. I need to get a reprint of that. Have you seen the German reprint? Not only is the text in German, but the swastikas are covered over as pluses in boxes to comply with German law regarding nazi symbols. Yeah I have. Is that the only reprint of this book? There is a two volume hardback set that came in a slipcase. It was issued in the 1990's and covers the first ten issues of Captain America. It is called "Captain America The Classic Years". Very cool set, has covers and complete stories. No ads. I received one as a birthday present many years ago. I had it too, but can't locate these days Still have mine. It was upstairs on the west end of the house, so it survived the hurricane. must be nice to have a house with "wings"

  12. thank you sir, and here are the rest of the cheslers [with her included down toward the bottom]. Now that's impressive! Quite an accomplishment to aquire a set like that. Any pedigrees in there other than the "D" copy? Ken Ken, i was fortunate to start collecting the cheslers at the same time beaucoup crippen's were hitting heritage. must be a dozen of them in that picture, most slabbed, a few not. one is a crippen double cover. there are two church copies [a major victory and the last yankee], the yankee 1 is the windy city, one of the dynamics is a big apple and the punch 10 is the hawkeye. I really like those yankees
  13. What a beautiful collection, with my personal favorite being Punch #9 I am partial to the first two Dynamics and Scoop 2. Great books Billy. I like the Yankees... gator
  14. Ease your pain by sending me one ok, I have some dupes because I bougth the crippin run from 74-82...which issue do you want ?( sharon gets first shot at the one she needs though) gator
  15. Cool! I've been waiting to see a group shot. Chesler has a number of innovative and unique covers - a very underrated publisher IMO. Jeff parker will finish the publisher in no time!
  16. I guess I would have to take the Flash, only because there is such a disparity between conditioned copies...there are 3 bat 1 in 9.0 and a dozen+ more in "high grade", but there is only one MH Flash 1, and the next highest grade is a lone 8.5, then a couple of 6.5s then vg or lower...true, Flash is not at the same popularity level as Batman, but it is a more desirable book for me gator
  17. didn't know you had all those great actions!
  18. bang, do you have all 24?...I hope to even have the 21 you have posted there...truly stunning rick
  19. wow, page 5 to bump this thread...but, with 2008 being my self declared "year of the centaur", I suspect we can keep it on the front page
