  2. he wants me to trade him my tec 27 for it...what do you think, good deal or not? No no don't listen to him guys! I very reasonably asked for his WW #7 and that he wear a UCLA jersey during March Madness! Thats all you know, the ww7 wouldn't be so bad...but a UCLA jersey....I almost wore a LSU jersey last month, but in the end, couldn't do it! rick

  4. I guess not! I didn't even know he needed it until I just read his post it has been in my Sig line for months
  5. one month ago I was at parkers house, visiting and watching LSU v Fl and I missed a captain america 36 too....ugh! and, to top it all off, we lost the game...but, parker and his family were MOST gracious! rick
  6. I guess I never really understood that one...if you scrape the very minor amount of glue off, it likely doesn't affect the grade (at least not that much or it would be in a purple label), etc, so how is that restored or why does it need to be qualified (it already states on the label it is there)? sure, someone at one point decided that a drop of glue would maybe prevent something (not sure what the glue is doing or what it is holding or if it is serving any purpose at all) from getting worse, but that doesn't affect the fact that it is a VF copy, does it? or maybe it would knock it down to a vf-?...this whole mentality that something that minor should be considered "restored" is just rediculous in my book ...Black hand, this post was not in any way directed specifically at you, I just used it to illustrate my point that many many seem to feel that way...now, this is just my opinion, so I am not saying someone else's opinion is not any more correct or valid than mine...I just don't get it? gator
  7. Larson Marvel 1 for me, but Bats 1 in 8.5 is a close second (but having already had an 8.0, some of the luster is lost) rick
  8. (thumbs u just stay away from an #63 you might run across!
  9. they look better at your house...wasn't there a slabbed one to? or did you crack it?rick
  10. Wow! How much restoration, if any? extensive, but an October copy gator
  11. yo BB... you are correct...I have completed runs of Action (1-100), Batman (1-100 and 1-103), Detective (27-101)...just completed the Timely MMC 2-92 (with a marvel 1 as good measure) and I am 9 books from finishing Captain America 1-75....in each case, I have completed the runs in 1 year or less....having said that, I have been collecting WW 1-84 for almost 2 years and still need 1 issue!!!! never seen it for sale....and, I did just start Sensations 3 months ago, and have about 70 of the 106 issues or so...but, there are at least 15 Sens issues that I know NOT where a copy is for sale (unlike the Batmans or Detective or Caps, etc)... so, by comparison, the runs are much tougher, at least for me rick
