  7. see what i am talking about..."big guns" gator
  8. It's because of pics like this that the GA Group Shot is one of my favorite threads... well done, sir! STEVE kind of like the pot calling the kettle black...it was GShots by you and Win and berk and ciorac and filter81, with bangzoom more recently, etc etc (way too many to list) that got me to posting eventually I will do a whiz shot, a captain marvel adventure shot, a MMC shot, a Captain america shot, a wonder woman shot, world's finest shot...some expanded tec and batman shots, etc...but I don't have anywhere near the fire power some of you big guns have ! thanks gator
  9. one of my favorite runs...issues 62,64 and 65 are in route to me, and once in hand, I will take a complete 52-67 shot...not as "nice" as coolj (with the 2 MH!) and mine are lower grade and some restored, but still, a great great run! gator
  10. man, all these great group shots is making me want to get some books out and photograph! gator
  11. I remember when this group shot was only 2 comics deep... congrats! gator
  12. wow, I never noticed before, but UM is really "man" handling that little guy....I guess the damsel in distress is next? gator Have you been reading Garth Ennis' "The Boys"? I read everything Ennis writes gator
  13. DM.. nice pick up...once (if) I ever finish DC's funny stuff run, my boy and I are eyeing KK from timely (have to have marvel's funny animal book run equivalent) gator
  14. I think they had to sleep with each other too (I was told the deal was "put to bed")...now there is some "hosing" to think about! gator Tell me about it, bring on the hosing! So if Richard is sleeping with Parker, who's Ciorac sleeping with? I thought he was Richard's "Daddy" if you know what I mean...... So that only leaves one question??? Who do I gotta sleep with to get me one of those, I would take either one. I'd better clarify that last sentance....I'd take either MC 1 copy, not that it would matter who I had to sleep with to get it. well, I am not one to "gossip", but I happen to know Ciorac spent a lovely weekend holed up in a hotel room in MD with one of florida's least eligible individuals, but I'll never tell who! of course, I heard that only a VG copy of Sensation 100 was coming out of the deal, so might be a barometer of some sort... gator

  16. not to mention that the backer board buffers against released acid from the pulp of the comic....by leaving a comic in a bag/mylite alone, you can liken it to leaving your pot roast in a bag...with no backer board to absorb some "juices", your roast just stews in its own juices... best method: acid free full back with comic inside mylite, mylar, whatever (provides both buffer and protection)....I would then, on the valuable books, put that inside a full mylar (4mil) to protect against addition UV considerations rick

  18. The more I see this book, especially a very nice copy like your new Parker pedigree, the more I think I will need to get one someday soon. It really is a spectacular issue, love the deep rich blue, contrasted by the firey colors of red and yellow. Its a classic book....(need a green with envy greamlin), very happy for you both, nice trade and sweet to see it so close. Paul here's the new parker copy--it ain't no pedigree. but it has great register and color, and i'm happy with it. thanks Ricky. whilst ciorac was my first "hero", you 2 (parker and beddy) are also my heroes! love it when a plan comes together! gator
  19. Damn dyslexia! The snipers won't effect my driving ability, but the fact that I am moving to Nashville on that Friday does. good luck (what is win going to do without you?) gator
