I had an idea, as a great DC collecter who try to collect almost everything between 1987 to 2011 i tought it could be interesting to make you a list to permise you to show the best books and send these ones to cgc rather than other ones if you find them. What do you think?

How could you be scammed with a fake slabe? On the cgc register you can find every graded book with the listing of the defect so how can you be scammed? The scammer can replace the book into the slab but cannot hide the defect who arent the same from a comics to an other, you will be able to see the difference between the book on the cgc website and the book you bought if it was replaced...

When the condition started to be a thing for me i almost given up the hobby, became sick for stupid deffect... At the beggining my goal was to get complete run, my goal was to read, to enjoy the art! And guess what? All this sh*t, the importance of the condition for the value, and the value itself, while i never bought to resell so why be worried of it? I dont know BUT NOW ITS OVER! I BUY THE BOOK NOT THE GRADE! I WANT TO BE FREE AND MY BOOKS WANT IT TOO!!!

Yes but what it change? I mean each product you buy deserve a barcode. Rice, milk, CD or comics everything have a barcode

Im probably using the term of "alternative" because for me the common book is the traditional super hero stuff... when i look all these Vertigo covers (just the covers) its look really special for me, closer of an artist painting than a comic book as i know them

The Vertigo section of DC are usually really praised by the reviews on overall. What is your personal experience with it? Did that keep you in the boat during this era where many editors was at their lowest? Was the style too much alternative or gore for you in comparison at the comics of your teenage years? Or it was at contrary a new wave that you loved? If you liked you can also share some of your favourites Vertigo covers here!
