Update, I received an offer Someone want to buy many of my batman issues, approximately 50 books. Contain the following keys: 404-407,426-429 and the famous 423. Other books are random issue between 409 to 562. The guys want to pay me a price of 600 dollars. What do you think? It seems more than honnest. Its crazy, i realize always i see the cash im ready to give up the hobby... i was in great hesitation these latest month about it and now that i see an offer like that im hesitating again

What is the book in your collection you had paid the most and while reading it you discovered how bad the story was? Probably the Golden Age collectors are some good candidates here

Yes and i have to admit that maybe a day i will buy some slabbed comics just by security to know exactly what i buy or even if the book arent avalaible on the condition i want in raw, but instantly after the purchase i will destroy the slab trust me.

You probably already seen videos of speculators on youtube who repeat why you have to invest on this book or this one because if you dont do it now it will be too late in few time... The things i cannot understand is why the books even the older will continue to increase now that we have service like cgc who prevents the books from disappearing in the wild and be destroyed? In my mind there will be a roof, a certain point where it will be over. if a great quantity of a specific book are already slabbed and with the time the latest raw copies will be progressivly slabbed too why the books will increase, i dont imagine the number of slabbed book reduce, people arent going to broken them... so the books cannot became really more rare... I think to books like Batman 227, 251 or Green Lantern 76. People continue to send these kind of books to cgc so im a bit confused about the increasing even in ten or twenty years.

We re talking about 180 detective comics for 1 dollar each and not a cent more. Range between 580-850, no keys into it, all in great condition.

So to resume the situation, i bought many month ago a bat 423 to a friend and asked to do not send the book because i often buy to him and i do not wanted to made a package for just one book. And the last week i finally asked him to send it I didnt asked him to get lot of pics so before receive the book i didnt know anything except that he was very fine. Today the books was delivered and what a surprise i had! I didnt see it in the beginning but there is a great mistake on the back of this book > Im almosr sure to already know the answer... But we never know so i ask, did my book have an exceptional default and worth billions?

language barrier here, can you explain me the term of "LOSH book"?

DC had at my knowledge 3 essentials series who was used most of time to introduce new charachter and told stories for secondary charachters who did not deserve her own title. These series was Detective, Action and Adventure, but when we re looking the publishing, the 2 first survived through the time while Adventure Comics was canceled during a crazy gaps between 1983 to 2009. Why this famous série was canceled for so long?

The fact is that i absolutely dont buy randomly i have a really specific goal but it doesnt change that the quantity of books is crazy

Thanks for your replies guys, the first ones almost make me take a bad path but finally we re going to never give up. I know that the essential problem is that i have other problems in my life at the moment who make me feel bad and its the reason why i want to stop the hobby... and im still just a begginer in this adventure so the links with comic books arent yet enough strong and this means that I still doubt sometimes. I can make a comparison with Running, its now 5 years that i run, probably if i try to remind me 5 years ago it was a lot of time when i began where i wanted to rennounce. But now i do it for 5 years and I don't wonder anymore if i will continue or not, its now a part of my life, the link is so strong! And i think with the times it will happen the same things with comics and these questions will never be asked anymore at a certain point

Wow... im not of this kind since i started to have interest for comic books collecting i developed instantly a deep hate for the variant, i always wanted to get the cover A and a lot of time i I missed out on a lot because it was too many variant into. I have an other problem which is that i only collect the direct market books i cannot imagine to have a newstaand in my house
