  1. I would personally love to get a 9.8 of the book in question. I may have to wait a while but hopefully it won't be out of my registry set for too long
  2. It depends, also I asked him if it was like a store variant/group variant directly, (which are also types of unofficial variants, the latter more than the former), and he chose to NOt answer. I had to search out and prove that it is exactly one of those, but even for one of those, a couple notches down Your definition is very different to a lot of others. As Jeff said they are all official variants whether you feel they are collectable or not for you is your choice. Personally if they have been approved by the publishers and the creators then they are official. Whether I want to buy or recognize them is totally my own choice. It all boils down to the old adage: What I collect is great and what you collect is... Having said all that I agree he was being a little shady about it all even though in actuality he didn't need to be
  3. I need one of those Promo packs!!!
  4. Morning glories was like that from the start. I didn't know what was going on from book to book.
  5. It really depends on if you're buying from Mark or the secondary market. There was a double page splash that just sold for $6,000 on splash page. To be honest, anything with a decent zombie on it is probably going to set you back at least $1,000, if not more depending on detail, who else is on the page, page significance, size of the OA, if it was pre-100, pre 48, post 114 w/ Stephen, etc. If you're buying secondary market, it may be even higher. For a book with 100+ issues and zombies everywhere, there aren't really as many crazy zombie pages as you would think. Which is probably why it's been so good. Thanks as complicated as that It would be secondary market pre-100 How about this... Walking Dead #73 page 16 - Half Splash with 2 Zombies, Abraham (2 panels), Bruce, Holly and Tobin (2 panels). The book is the first appearance of Holly, a minor character still around (3rd page appearance)
  6. Sorry a published page For some reason I always use the term OA to describe work created for Print and Sketch for those that are commissioned for a fan. I guess in reality they are all original art
  7. Quick question guys but I know very little about the OA market and I was wondering how much Adlard OA with zombies sell for these days?
  8. +1 It's certainly a little creepy
  9. Does any of this matter the story and art as good as ever, if not better.
  10. Wow now that is one creepy cover
  11. Jenny told me Larry commissioned 12 covers and between her finishing issues 11 and 12 he pulled the plug, stopping at only 10. 12 therefore was never created but 11 is unpublished. A pity as it's the one Phanom cover that would actually add something to the series IMO.
  12. Nope not just you, IMO It's the best of the Phantom variants (thumbs u I've just not seen it anywhere else
  13. I liked 1-8, after that the story became uninteresting, that's the sad part. Wow
  14. Why do you want to unload your slabs?
  15. Tim told me #17 will be the issue that seriously blows the minds of their readers, can't wait Happy Birthday Buddy! Cheers mate. Just treated myself by ordering the Hardcover of Revival, can't wait
  16. Tim told me #17 will be the issue that seriously blows the minds of their readers, can't wait
  17. In my case, I think it's because it was just a bland issue, really. It's all still setup for whatever's coming in this arc. There's nothing wrong with having setup issues, but it can feel anticlimactic when you've been anticipating the issue. exactly what i was going to say but put so much better (thumbs u
  18. I wonder why... I love that one. But still #6 for me!
  19. Certainly my favourite cover so far although I may be biased
  20. You've been spouting this line for a long time and no one is buying it. I have you on ignore but having seen the quotes, where you down right insulted the guy I just have to comment. These boards/community were a much better place before speculators like you came over and the main reason I no longer post as much as I used to. That's not to say I have an issue with speculating, I don't! It's just when your pure reason for being in comics is speculating and the almighty dollar seeing your posts is just annoying. It gets even more annoying when you start criticizing a book purely because the value is not as high as you would like it to be, even when the book itself is amazing. It just seriously grinds my gears.
