I'd say this was probably graded 7.5-8.0 maybe 8.5 on a good day. If those creases break color, as the notes say, a press probably wont help.
I don't think that's foxing but some sort of a stain. A good clean might take it out but I'd think to get it out it would make the spine "too white" compared to the back cover.
Just my though. -

I wouldn’t argue with that - but that lays the groundwork for striking the word “cameo” from comic book lexicon. Which I would be in favor of.

"an act of becoming visible or noticeable; an arrival"
So if someone appears, THAT'S the first appearance. There should really be zero debate on this based on the actual definition of the word.
Agree that cameo shouldn't be the term.
Oxford for cameo
"a small character part in a play or movie, played by a distinguished actor or a celebrity."
The way cameo is viewed in entertainment is when it is someone recognizable.. Say when we see Stan Lee in all the Marvel movies. When it's a brand new characters first appearance it's not a cameo. Wolverine's appearance in IH 180 is his first appearance, it's not a cameo, Wolverine in IH 340, that's a cameo as the character is well established and popular at that point.
I wish cameo would go away.
Jimmy Olsen 134 is hard to explain though- Gonzimodo, Juno Beach and PopKulture

Did a quick search and didn't see any posts on this.
Did anyone see this poor person make this 11K mistake on Heritage The Amazing Spider-Man #1 Golden Record Reprint, like ouch.
It only had 4 bids. It says Reprint on the label not to mention the auction listing. So not one but at least two people with more dollars than sense bid on this.
I'd really love to know the story of how this happened. Oh and the buyer is taking offers at $13, 875

Under-graded every book, but one bullseye. Didn't think a detached staple could get higher than a 3. Way out of practice grading books with this many defects.

Thief was a multiple offender with a warrant already I believe.Sounded like a real piece of . He'd run from the police before as well. Hopefully in this case DA will hit him with all he can and set bail high as a known flight risk.

All of that tells me that it's business as usual at CLink. It's comforting.

Can't speak for public announcements, never really paid attention, but in the years I've been dealing with them any problems I've had were addressed and with fast email response. Maybe I've been lucky.

I don't see any indication this was a hack. Theft hackers want sites to stay up, and typically don't cause any coding issues. Malicious hackers typically want you to know they were there, usually defacing home pages or placing the ransomware demands where all can see. The only thing I see odd is that comiclink.com had a DNS update today. They are hosted by Cloudflare with data center servers being hosted by ColocationAmerica, neither of which I have heard of any hack. The healthcare hack was just yesterday, so before CLink went down.
More than likely this was a code crash possibly the SQL sever DB, then a backup/restore failure.
The more concerning thing to me however, is the lack of communication. The deleting posts, ignoring attempts to contact are disappointing at best.

I live near Nashville so I've been to their new "store" here. I'm not sure what they sell, it's a t-shirt shop just well decorated with alot of antiques labeled NFS. I think they mostly have alot of corporate contracts like TGI Fridays or something.

Well I got, I think, my first ever one and done. Good luck everyone remaining.

I had a zero score too, but did submit grades in the same message thread as the seeding round. By my caluclations it wasn't enough to win my matchup though...
Ditto, I don't think I had enough but it was close, Also have a 0 score posted.

On the submissions page the ** for ReHolder states "Mail-in submissions only". I take this to assume I can not turn in a book for ReHolder at a convention CGC is taking books at?

How hard would it be to etch the serial on the slab say on the back at the very bottom of the slab.
Course this would add to cost.
