Would be Uncanny X-Men for me. Got them from 122 up and about 25 lower numbers with the oldest being nr 14. Would love to complete my Firehair Registry set. And working (very slowly) to get a First Love Illustrated registry set. There are a bunch of other Marvel set I would love to complete.... actually to many to name all

I used to have fun with these too. I think this year I would not even make the 100 comics club.... maybe I should try again in 2018. Still have enough comics I didn't read yet to get to well over a 1000 in 2018

we donate toys at our local children's home. Most of these children have either no parents or are children that have parent that not take care of them (abuse or otherwise).

Look at that. Came home from work and a surprise was waiting for me. Can't wait to open them. Is the giftwrapping a give away from what is inside them. (Disney wrapping) . They have been given a prominent place under the tree and will be among the first I will open! This is so much fun! Now I know I will have at least three present related to my hobby (and can hide my disappointment when a family member gives me some bloody socks ) The cookies where a nice touch, but I will have to get somebody else to taste them for me as I am suffering from severe food allergies restricting me to eat them myself. (sorry) Christmas on the CGC Board is AWESOME!

Happy to see mine has been delivered (Hope you like it) But I didn't get my secret Santa yet. Today is the last delivery day before Christmas. (no delivery service on Saturdays over here). I guess I'll have a "after Christmas" gift. While everybody else had all there packets I can then open more after the holidays, making everybody envy.

If it is my time they will all belong to my son. He said what he would like to keep and what would go and I explained him where to go to so he would get the best out of it. So he knows.

I love Star Wars... And I love The Last Jedi. AWESOME movie. Whow!!! incredible,: the charater building, the stories, the cinematography, etc. luke's story is fantastic, well worth the wait. the movie is close to perfect. I only have one issue with it, but that is for the spoiler review. second viewing tomorrow!

In that case: who wants my 9.8 Secret Wars copy. Only $5000... That's 300 cheaper then his raw book. Bargain!

Got my tickets for the 13th december. Yes, 13th. Two days before US release.

As it says "other passions beside comics", it doesn't have to be collection based, right. so my other passions are: Disney: especially the theme parks. I am a Disney Vacation Club member so WDW is my favorite place to go on holiday. (Also love theme parks in general) Stock Market: love it. Don't have the big capital to really play the marker but do have long term picks (23 companies I own stocks from and will add more in the next 15-20 years) Poker: a (very) small but positive bankroll. Love the game. Other stuff I like collecting: action figures, trading cards, collectible card games, RPG and board games, authographs from movie/TV stars (mostly those stars I can meet at a con), coins. Nothing of these are big collections, just stuff I like. Writing: I did work on some published Disneyland Paris books, working on a kickstarter (190% funded) RPG, looking for a publisher for a finished book and really would like to get a -script out there. (Dreams, I know)
