With all the evidence, this has to get a happy end, right?!
crossing all my fingers and toes it does.

Proof Nr 1 that I am insane: I own about 13.000 comics, 95% drek, and I want to keep them all... Bagged and boarded... Even those ones you would find in the 50 cents bin. Love them all.
Proof nr 2 I am insane: had my own comic book store for about 4 years...

Will you also get pictures signed from guests or only books/CGC?

Is the program a one time buy or do you get charged a yearly fee/subscription to get updated pricing?
Multiple options: https://www.collectorz.com/comic

I love collectorz.com. It's not free, but truly worth the money.
+1
got 12500 in my database.
not perfect as database it is user driven and on some older books with variants, numbering could be wrong. But that's the only problem.
love using it, done it for many years

Meeting Summer Glau was one of the coolest things I done during any con.
Talked with her for a good 15 minutes. Mostly about ballet and dance (I used to be a pro-dancer... as you can see in the picture, I'm not anymore - Still a choreographer though)
I had a set of Serenity top loader trading cards of her (3 card set). She hadn't seen them before. As I had 2 sets, I gifted one set to her.
She is the nicest celebrity I ever talked too.

Someone should start a proxy service in the states, where I can have comiclink or mcs or eBay send my books to them in the states and then have that person send the books to me in Canada, I could save some shipping costs and they could make a percentage of what it costs for the shipping. Any takers?
+1
for the rest of Europe!

I sold a VHS tape to Italy last month for $200, that just wouldn't have happened without a global market.
And it puzzles me so many people still don't want to sell worldwide. The world market is so much bigger with a lot of extra $$$.

Doesn't work. Says no such account is found when using old mail

Tried to ask in other parts of the forum and via mail, but no reply yet. So now I try via main comic board:
When loggin on with my account I now am logged on as 999ghosts1 instead of my old boardname 999ghosts
On the new board all my previous info is now gone. I am a new user with no posts.
My free cgc accound and old board email address are the same.
can my board account be changed back so I can loggon with 999ghosts again

Thank you Netflix for adding this on the list. I am enjoying it.
But a question for the Archie comic book readers. Is this a story from the comic books. Is it a new story.
I always thought Archie comics to be something totally different. Is the comic this dark?

I am a new collector of comics based in the UK, and find that many of the 'best ones' are located in / for sale from the US. I have bought some privately, and some on eBay. The Global Shipping Programme (GSP) irritates me enormously, as it automatically adds import fees to all purchases, when comics including their (CGC) cases are legally duty free into the UK.
I have researched the subject, and have passed my findings to eBay (who have done nothing with it yet - as at 1 February 2017). I hope US seller and UK buyers might find this helpful to sellers and cost-saving to buyers:
For comics to arrive in the UK tax and duty free, they must first be sold outside of the GSP (which eBay allows so long as the seller agrees). Packages must be marked "Printer matter - comic book/s. Tariff code 4902900000".
For those that like additional reading, this is set out in Notice 701/10, Schedule 8, Group 3 (books including cases).
Regards
Stephen
The Global Shipping Programme is Ebay's worst service ever offered. Lucky there are enough sellers still shipping outside of this crapy programme. (A big thank you to those sellers). I avoid buying from sellers using the GSP.
That being said. Another thing that puzzles me is shipping cost overall. I know it is not cheap but the difference is big sometimes. Mostly I can get 4 comics for postage of a little over $20 to Belgium and a little more for a slab.
However, I see people on Ebay ask $60 and more for 1 book. I even seen postage added for $100+ on one book.
It puzzles me that some can ship for a little over $20 while others seemed to need $60 or even more...

How about the Fox team first read the comics and then make a good movie. They do that and I might go and see the movies at the cinema again. As long as they frack up the characters like they are doing now, I will not bother watching the X-Men movies when they come out. X-3 was bad, Future was terrible and I could not even force myself to see the last one...

Thank you for sharing the story. Very nice to use the funds for a down payment for a house for your son.
Make sure to share a picture of the book here. I'm sure many of us fans would love to see it.
Personally, if I had a book like that to sell, I would look at one of the comic experienced online auction houses. While the auction house will also get a piece of the pie (very normal of course), I just would want to know how high it would go in a specialized auction. (It's also a little bit the gambler in me)
Whatever you do, good luck with the sale

Fun to look at the picture. Do share more picture...
+1 on the coins. Have thes checked out. I've seen the Disney, Marvel and Star Wars coins go for good money $100+ per coin.
The (priz guide) magazines a worthless. I used to sell these myself and when I stopped my store people didn't even want them for free.
I also recognize a bunch of the common trading cards. No value there. The Plaza card was a freebee you got when you bought a box of 100 Ultra Pro 9-sleeves pages. Thousands out there.
I'm sure it's not all bad as some already pointed out some of the better things!
Can't wait to see more picture!

Saw it yesterday. Slow start, strong ending. I still think Force Awakens is better. Saw Awakens 3 times in cinema and multiple times on Netflix. Will only watch Rogue once in the cinema.

Such a great show but one thing does puzzle me a bit
Where are all the visitors? When "freezing" the bots you would think there might be a bunch of visitors walking around the park waiting to get everything started up again. A park like this, I expected to be filled with "normal" people and not just the bots.
