  1. One of my favorite covers. Great ending to the book.
  2. Matt Smith is a good choice, as he can play the character believably for a number of years. I hope Mr. Fantastic's stretching ability does not look weird and cheesy again. If the writers create a good and believable story with a great villain they don't kill off in the end, I think the movie will make money and be a success.
  3. I kinda liked it. Not as much as Loki or Hawkeye, but more than Ms. Marvel. At the end of the series, the actions of the President of the U.S. could provide a storyline for the X-Men. If that happens then the events in Secret Invasion could be very important.
  4. One of my reasons for slabbing is to literally protect the books. I want to preserve what I have for a long time. The thought of someone mistakenly damaging the books with no harm intended is a risk I do not want to take.
  5. Uhh, yeah. Apparently the first series of Transformers/My Little Pony did so well, IDW made a second series. I had to google it also. Apparently the Editor-in-chief and the writer had fun with it. Good for them. Maybe a movie will be next.
  6. It took 15 days from the time my box was delivered to CGC to be scheduled for grading. That's a little better than the 20 day estimate. I am curious what the intake looks like. They must have a lot of boxes to go through.
  7. There are a few to choose from on Amazon.com. If hard shell is what you want and price is not a consideration, maybe this one would suffice: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BZK1XS42/ref=sspa_dk_detail_3?psc=1&pd_rd_i=B0BZK1XS42&pd_rd_w=CmM9l&content-id=amzn1.sym.0d1092dc-81bb-493f-8769-d5c802257e94&pf_rd_p=0d1092dc-81bb-493f-8769-d5c802257e94&pf_rd_r=H18XED6XHFT2QYCWJ27Y&pd_rd_wg=gqDpg&pd_rd_r=829e9d74-ea33-4e88-a88b-9b54c4278080&s=hi&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9kZXRhaWwy
  8. CGC took 15 days between receiving my box to "Scheduled for Grading". Currently, I am patiently waiting for another update. Not quite glacier-like, but at least I know that my books are safe.
  9. I just received notification for my books. Took CGC 15 days since arrival.
  10. Thank you for the 20 day reminder. It seems many people are anxiously awaiting their books to be entered into the system. Your post helped me to remain patient. I can't imagine waiting months. That requires some powerful zen-like patience.
  11. Good point. Unless they include more international Joes. (That sounds kinda weird). But like a task force made of the best from each country.
  12. Yes, hopefully they can merger their franchises in a way that benefits both. I feel that NEST in the earlier movies kinda had that G.I. Joe vibe. I hope they don't make G.I. Joe too cheesy (fakey, lame, etc.).
  13. Oooh, this could be the plot of a movie, or comic book series. Who is going to stop the organized crime ring dealing in high valued comics? I do feel bad for the OP and hope my comics are not lost. But I doubt there is a conspiracy going on.
  14. This relieves my anxiety also knowing that there are others out there with the same situation as myself. I keep checking the status of my order daily....waiting....and waiting.... Thanks for sharing!
  15. Apprehensive, yes. BUT the tracking and updates were very much appreciated. I was more nervous about the USPS or FedEx damaging the books more than anything else. When the books get sent back to you, and you see the brand-new slabs and your books safely inside, all those worries disappear really quickly. Just remember, be patient because the process takes time. I am new to this community, and I have been supported by fellow collectors. After my first few were graded, I immediately sent in more.
  16. I am in a similar situation. Based on my previous submission, these things take time, so be patient. The website does update the status, but it is not a very quick process. I am thankful that my box is somewhere safe rather than travelling the country trying to reach its destination.
