    I placed this artist on my personal revered list the day I first got the Photo Journals. Back then, when there was no internet, seeing them cover after cover was incredible, even shocking, really.

    That's pretty awesome! Would have scared the bejezus out of me as a kid! What a superb Jack Cole classic, pre-Eel O'Brien! Just don't come across this one all that often! Here is its older sibling, hitting the stands 4 months earlier. A bit disheveled but attractive colors nonetheless. Love the 6 as well!! Classic! Still need to get me one of those...they make quite a pair!

    Now that's an absolutely beautiful looking copy! Any idea why it received a CGC grade of only 7.5 when the book seems to present a lot nicer than that as based upon the front cover? i believe only notes were 1/2" spine split I remember years ago when I was collecting AMF, I bought what was adv as a VG for $200. It was only a 2.5 or so, and I returned it.
