  1. I picked up this Rasl at C2E2 last year and when I was getting Alex Ross to sign some books, he asked me if I was going to get Jeff Smith to sign it. I told him I was and asked him if he wanted to sign it. He laughed and said he didn't do anything in the book then said yeah, let me have it. He smiled the whole time he was signing it! Stay tuned for Jeff's reply! [/img]
  2. I'm glad this whole thing is settled becasue Julio, Olympian & Jeremy have been good to me. With or without the missing pages, it's still something special. Julio just wanted everyone to get something that they paid for. They did and I don't think they received anything less. From a business standpoint, I really don't see what more Tom could do. I bought CPG direct from Olympian at first, then from the distibutor later. It's the easiest book to sell I have ever seen! Just show it and 99% of people buy it! It's so nice to be at a show and almost have exclusive books. At Mid Ohio Con, Jeremy had #1 & 2 and I had all 3 issues. He sent people to me for #3 and I sent people to him for signings. He sold out of everything he brought. I left with only #1's. Julio bought fourth print #1's from me and turned around and gave them away! Jeremy is one of the nicest guys I have met in this hobby! I support him every chance I get. He offered to sketch a blank cover variant book for free! I couldn't let him do that so I paid him but just the offer took me by surprise. Here's a guy trying to make a living off this stuff and wanting to give away his work! I gave him some books to sign and he not only signed them but did a sketch on them! I'm so glad the next run will be at Olympian! The quality of the books would suffer so much. CPG stands out on a rack right now. Any other publisher would make it look just like every other book on the rack. The down side is that maybe fewer people will get to see Jeremy's great work but Tom and guys like Julio are working to change that. Keep up the good work guys!
  3. Cursed Pirate Girl #3 is now a sell out from the distributor.
  4. Just noticed Olympian Publishing dropped #2 2nd prints from the web page. Is a 3rd print in the works? This book needs a new on going series. I just hope Jeremy stays with Olympian.
  5. The 4th print #1's are on the way to Julio! Alot of dinged books so it took me awhile to find good ones. Double boxed it to Julio. Here's a scan:
  6. I'd be very surprised if the trade is available there. It has not even been solicated from the distributor yet. Jeremy said it would not be solicated until SDCC. That would make it shipping 2 months after the con.
  7. Now that's my fav! Every sketch I see makes me say that.
  8. My buddy went to WW Philly and got some books graded onsite for me. He surprised me by not revealing my grade for CPG #3. I thought it must have been a 9.6. When he showed it to me, it was: Said he just couldn't send a text, he had to see my face! My first 9.9 of anything!
  9. That is an awesome double sig print!
  10. Jeremy said the trade would be offered after SDCC. The publisher is going to make a big push out there for the book. Anyone going make sure to check out the booth early. Rumor has it there will be some books there we would all like to have.
  11. Here is my sketch from Motor City!
  12. I agree to some degree, Jeff. But I heard that copies of #1 sold out on the first day at Motor City. Could they have been board members? Yes, it was.
  13. Just got issues 1-3 at Motor City Con! Jeremy is set up. Getting a sketch done! Made my show! #1 is a 3rd, 2 is a 2nd and 3 is a 1st print. He sold out of #1 but 2 and 3 are still there. Seems to have plenty. Real nice guy. Can't wait to read them tonight. Oh yeah, he signed all of them!
  14. The buyer is not the only bidder who bid high on the book. I don't know what the bid increment is but didn't two bidders bid $12,000? The winner and the runner up?
  15. Great selection of books and nice numbers!
