  1. Excluding the classic covers (VOH 30, CSS 17/20/22), this is probably my favorite:
  2. No not all (just the really cool ones!)
  3. Thanks! So while I'm waiting... How about some love for the Bethlehems?
  4. Thanks for catching that Steve! I'm going to investigate sending it (along with the Tales 22 maybe) back to CGC for a pedigree review.
  5. Actually I thought you got a pretty decent deal!
  6. Here's the only "official" River City I own currently:
  7. River City was my first thought, as well...the cursive "L" and the month-hyphen-day certainly fit that bill. But, then I talked myself out of it, because I've never seen a River City mark in red ink, or with that horizontal underscore underneath the "L". But...early version, perhaps Ok Ed how about this one (again from comicbookpedigrees.com). Still not quite the same but much closer. This one actually has both the L and the C:
  8. I think you could be right! Check out this one courtesy of the comic book pedigrees site
  9. Seeing sacentaur's Weird Science with the distributor mark made me think about one of my ECs - does this notation look familiar to anyone?
  10. I like it too! I would love it even more if I could find a slightly better copy
  11. I'd like the VOH 32 a lot more if the cover (ax to the head) wasn't censored. I like that one too! The uncensored version is even worse The only uncensored version would be in the reprints, wouldn't it? Also the poster (one of which I have, along with one for the uncensored Tales From The Crypt 38). Yes, although the OA is uncensored as well (from Mr. Halperin's collection):

  13. Ahh yes, but the point is, you have a copy of an EC, and that's all it takes to recognize what sets the brand apart from all others. Don't worry, you'll be getting more, eh eh. Hopefully next month Welcome to the club - it's a long creepy journey from here
  14. Big news on the TFTC front! Thoughts? http://io9.gizmodo.com/rip-crypt-keeper-the-superstar-that-won-t-return-to-ta-1751824030
  15. Those silverprints are really fun too. I've got a couple of full stories myself, and I love having a piece of the production history (especially at a fraction of the price of the OA!)
  16. Great looking books! The 40 in particular is nice - for some reason it seems to come up in high grade less frequently, and your copy looks nicer than 9.0
  17. Sure, requests are always considered! I'll start working on that...I'll need to decide where to officially "start" that set for layout purposes...Crime Patrol 15? Crypt of Terror 17? Tales From the Crypt 20? Why not International 1?
  18. Are you doing requests? Can we see the Tales from the Crypt next?
  19. I won't presume to speak for Ed, but the phrase, "from my cold, dead hands" came to mind
