  1. Here is another tough one. This is also the Highest Grade Copy to date graded by CGC. It has a 45 page Human Torch vs Sub-mariner story and one page of Wolverton art! Timely
  2. Here is a super tough book to get in VF or better. This 8.0 copy is the Highest Graded Copy that CGC has graded to date. Daring Mystery Comics #1-8 had ended years earlier and with issue #9, the title was changed to Daring Comics. I never figured out why the "Mystery" was dropped from the title?!? Oh, BTW, it's a World War II Schomburg shark cover too! Timely
  3. This one is listed as SCARCE in Overstreet. Comedy Comics #9 was a continuation of Daring Mystery Comics #1-8. Only the first 3 issues of Comedy Comics have Superhero stories. Timely
  4. Here is one of the rarest Timely's from 1942. Overstreet lists it as "Rare". Joker Comics #1 is the only Joker issue to have a Superhero story in it, Stuporman. It's also the 1st appearance of Powerhouse Pepper by Wolverton! I'm going to scan the back cover too as it has Captain America on it! Timely
  5. One of the few Timely's with a green logo area. Cool battleship sinking cover! Timely
  6. For some reason it will not let me edit and post the attachment of the Cap #29!?! Timely
  7. I'm hoping once you see this thread more of you will show the Timely's you have tucked away in your collections. Alex Schomburg is my favorite artist, so I'll start out this thread with one of his best works. Timely.
  8. Just got this beauty in yesterday at the Los Angeles Shrine comic show. Off to CGC it goes! Timely
  9. Can't you see the garter belt? That's lingerie my friend! And the art inside is a lot more revealing than the cover! Timely
  10. The art is wicked cool, didn't actually read it though/ Timely
  11. I had a Superboy #1 that had an arrival date of 12/21/1948 even though the cover date is March of 1949! Timely
  12. That's a bummer, do you remember the 2 issues you passed on? Timely
  13. Not to my knowledge. DC aquired the Fawcett and Quality characters, not the Nedors Timely
