  1. Writing and story factor in. I read the early issues of Invincible almost 20 years ago and never finished the series but I still remember this page because it was unexpectedly dumb and amusing. This moment gets a significant callback later in the series too.

  3. Well done! I've really liked this comic (can't wait for the final issue next week) and the covers for it have been awesome. Nice that you've got that second printing up there too.
  4. I've never seen the hand lettering that would later become his signature font. That is super cool.
  5. Jeff Smith's inks are so clean and that's a great example of his digital + traditional lettering.
  6. Wow, to put it very politely I am surprised that was published in 1995. Heritage also has it listed as a featured auction which is, uh, a choice. Not exactly what I'd expect to see beside a pivotal Dave Gibbons page from Watchmen or pages from Jack Kirby, but there it is...
